Arsenal first to lose a game this weekend(Premiere League)

 In the Everton vs Liverpool and Chelsea vs Southampton, VAR judgement helped Everton hold onto that point and Vesteergard's late goal secured a point for Southampton at Stamford Bridge. It's now official, Sadio Mane is really effective on the Liverpool squad and I would call him the man of the match in their play against Everton, his goal was really sensational and his play through the game was remarkable, he is always looking to make a difference or tighten the lead. I feel like hyping Mo Salah and underrating Mane is totally wrong because he works way harder but that's just my opinion.  Everton fought their way back into the game in the 81st with Calvert-Lewin's goal and VAR ruling out that late goal as Mane was offside by fraction served them justice and kept them on top of the table with 13 points after taking a point today.

There has not been a game yet that started off competitive with both teams looking strong and capable of taking a win like the Chelsea vs Southampton game, it was 50/50 possibility of both teams reaching the back of the net of their opponents first but Chelsea had their way before Southampton. After conceding two goals, Southampton's performance drastically declined in first half until they scored their first goal in the 43rd minute then came back strong in second half. With too much composure and effort in second half especially the last minutes of the game, Southampton scored a late goal which helped them secure a point against Chelsea, and this was a second tie of the day.

Man city put up a very good game against Arsenal that was struggling to find a plan in the game, the gunners pretty much had no plan from the start considering they almost conceded in the first couple of minutes and when they finally conceded in the 23rd minute they didn't plan a come back. Probably they did plan a come back but Manchester City definitely outsmarted them, the possession was dominated by Manchester City and they also had a great distribution strategy. That was a very average performance from Arsenal considering they had quite a number of chances they never utilized but you can't help to notice Saka's remarkable performance. We don't need a few players to deliver when others are so reluctant and effortless, Leno always does the work of saving Arsenal from conceding a huge number of goals otherwise with the kind of play that was displayed today if it was not for Leno's saves and Gabriel's noticeable effort Arsenal would have conceded more than enough goals and your over ticket would have earned you some money.

This is just my opinion, Arteta's positioning of players and choice of team kinda cost Arsenal a great chance of going away with a point. Some of those substitutes deserved to be on the starting team and I'm not talking about Partey, though he showed a good game in the last minutes I feel like using him as a substitute was a smart move because he's trained with Arsenal for just a few sessions and needs so more to adapt.

Frankly speaking, chelsea surprised me with their sloppy play during the first half. Poor defensive errors was a key component in the various goals Southampton scored. Many chelsea fans tend to blame the keeper whom I think did well during the match. When you have defenders like Christenson and Zouma who won't communicate effectively with you, such things happen.

I don't like the idea of blaming a single player when things do not go well, Kepa has been making some errors lately but to be honest in yesterday's game it was not entirely his fault that they got the results they got.
Thanks for recommendation, am new to this platform and still finding my way, I thought images from google are just fine as long as you name the source but I will work on that and make use of images from free sites. I had a question too if you do not mind, is it okay to post here blogs from your other platforms, I mean blogs you have posted before on another site.

Great matches took place today, I am surprised by the results of the Spanish league seeing Real Madrid and Barcelona lose.

Manchester City is a tremendous team.

City hasn't been doing the greatest, this was a game they needed to recover their confidence and the confidence of their fans in my opinion. I had no idea Barca and Madrid lost, that must have shocked many lol

@ruvare
"New" Everton has continued their super form. Liverpool played well after 7-2 loose. But I think VAR is the man of the match.
