Technical analysis from Xavi in the upcomig session.
After a season like a worse disaster, this year Barcelona have signed some quality player for all position of the field. It will help them to get back their right track to win all possible trophy. And obviously with thiese quality players the technique and playing style of Barcelona will be changed a lot. Barca coach Xavi Harnandez have already said about thet he will try a new technique in the upcoming season. So we have to wait till the upcoming season start to see how successful be the team is with new technique of their coach.
However Xavi have decided to try 3-4-3 formation with Christensen, Kounde and Araujo at back line. Perhaps he will play with two wing back and two midfielder at midfield and three forward in front. Alba and Raphinha can play as a wing back. Raphinha is very dangerous player in this position. Alba is always very good at offensive duty but bad at track back to defencs. But this time he can be more free as there is an extra man behind him at defense. Xavi can choose Pedri and Kessie or De Jong. He has some more option with Gavi, Torre, Nico and Busquets. But I think Xavi will choose Pedri, Kessie and De Jong most of the time and other as substitute. Since Xavi wants to use Jong in central defense, So we can see Jong as a substitute of Kounde who will be free to move on the ball fron back to build the play. Xavi will obviously use one defensive and one free midfield.
In front, thought Xavi has some good option but I think he will choose Ansu Fati, Lewandoski and Dembele with Auba and Ferran as substitute. The best advantage of this technique will be to see Dembele and Raphinha playing in same time. It will give some more opportunity to attack and goal. I hope sometime Xavi will use Gavi in wing. May be we can use Gavi as this for some more advantages too.
Anyway, this technique is now only on paper and mind. No one knows how this technique will do. So let's wait until it is applied to the field.
