QUESTION

AS THE FIFA PRESIDENT, HOW WOULD YOU HELP GIVE SMALLER CLUBS OPPORTUNITY TO WIN MAJOR TROPHIES?

Hello steemians, currently the demands of modern football have made it such that it is nearly impossible for smaller clubs to win any major titles. This means that only big clubs have a decent opportunity to make some name for themselves considering the enormous resource advantage on their side. That is why something needs to be done to help ease this situation.

As the FIFA president, what will you do about this?

Any reward that will be received on this will go to help boost our community steem power.

THANK YOU!

Since the major reason why smaller clubs cannot win major trophies is due to the lack of quality players, which is due to lack of finances to purchase these players.

As a FIFA president, I would create a special competition for these teams where the winners is awarded with $100 million price money which can be used with their internally generated funds to acquire the needed players in order to compete with the top teams in the major competitions.

Great idea. I think it will give the clubs a fair chance to win the trophy. Thank you.

Actually It is not easy for a small team to come up and win big teams in order to lift a trophy but as a FIFA President, I can make this possible by trying to rearrange League tables.

This Means that, whenever a Small team comes into a competition, I'll make sure they are grouped with teams of their level, then, they will have more chances of getting to higher levels in the competition. When This is done, the small teams may even have to meet a big team when close to the Semi-Finals. remember, small teams are always eager to hold tight and play strong games when playing against big teams, so when they get to meet the first big team and excel, they will have higher chances of getting to the finals of the competition and eventually lifting the trophy.

Alright, i think i subscribe to this. Pairing the smaller teams together would help them to last in a competition.

This is good. Will give small teams the chance to also perform. Thank you.

For me though, i think one of the major things that can be done to help give smaller clubs an opportunity to win a major trophy is to strongly stress on the financial play policy. Look here already bigger teams have the advantage when it comes to the monetary aspect of football because they can easily purchase good players with a really expensive price tag this would make smaller clubs not really able to compete with bigger clubs because of finance.
So i think as the FIFA president i would enforce the financial play rule to the maximum.

Agreed. I think financial fair play policies could help make things easier. Thanks

This question is kinda difficult because the main reason some clubs are bought by the business tycoon is to generate more. Manchester City was bought and today, they compete at the biggest stage. Chelsea bought in 2003 by Russian billionaire in person of Roman Abramovich and you see the uncommon the uncommon transformation.

As a FIFA President, I will face critics which part of the game place and that is they are lower league and major league but I will try to make sure things are balance in term in term of giving the lower team some incentives in term of making the amount huge and try to make their way to qualification or when they get to their major league, try to monopolized the transfer window to favor in term of taking big names on a loan to help them burst the chances of winning it and try to help them help them stand on their own.

As a FIFA president, the best thing to do to give the smaller clubs a chance to win a major tournament is to create a trophy like that of England F.A cup where smaller teams meet with any team to compete for the trophy.

Good one. Thanks

Woow, this question is a broad question. For me being the FIFA president, the things I would've put in place for the smaller teams to also win major trophies would've been very simple.
1.I will make sure that,a bigger club will not sign a player from the smaller club if the smaller club does not want to sell.

  1. Organized a short time tournament for smaller clubs to partake in with a huge sum of price,eg huge money and a bragging rights.
  2. I will make sure that,a bigger club not sell a player to the smaller clubs with huge price tag.
  3. I will make sure that, I tax the both clubs according to their worth. The smaller you worth, the smaller your tax.
  4. Limiting a number of players the big clubs should sign and register.
  5. I will try and get sponsorship deals for the smaller clubs.
  6. Lastly, I will make sure I build big stadiums for them to use,in order for them to get funs.

Good day Steemians. How have you been? This topic is really an interesting one and also a difficult one to solve.

When it comes to the inequalities that exists in humanity, big clubs ability to dominate in the league and win trophies can not be overly emphasized. There seems to be no workable fair play rules working. I think Fifa is to be blamed about it. I think Fifa benefits from all these inequalities.

For example, picture an Aston Villa versus a Getafe in a champions league final. The business value for that final will be low. So for there to be a more capital intensive final, the game is programed to favor the big boys of football.

For change, Fifa has to change the rules governing the modern game. If I become the Fifa President, here are some changes i'll put in place.

(1) No signing of a player if he/she has not full fill their contracts. That's major.

(2) Enact a law that prohibits giving big clubs more Tv rights. This is what I mean. In the Spanish La liga, Real Madrid and FCB Barcelona have bigger tv rights money. The English Premier League is a little bit fair in this aspect.

(3) That clubs use more of home grown Academy players 95% to signing from another club.

With these rules in place, I believe that lower clubs can stand a chance to win trophies.
