For a team to be recognized as a top tier team, it has to win some major league titles and meet a certain demands out there. At times, it gets very tough so much so that the match has to be decided on penalty shootouts. If it came to that, which goalkeeper are you trusting with this responsibility?

A goalkeeper is the first and the last man when it comes to the game of football.
that's why you will see them wear the number One Jersey and you will hardly see a goalkeeper wearing a captain ban except such that is so brave, concious and has devoted his time and sacrifice to his team and possess exceptional qualities when it comes to leadership, he must be concerned in the team's victory by stopping any moving round object that approaches the mouth of the goalpost..
If getting a goal keepers to mount my goalpost for the sake of penalty shoot out then I will have to call even send text to the Slovenian born goalie player and Captain of Inter Milan begging him to come to my rescue and if he doesn't give heed, then I'll have to beg his mother to talk to him for me.
I've lived to watch live matches and videos of retired goalkeepers like Peter Check, Lehman, Barthez and the rest of them goalies but I have never seen such composure put forth by them to stop penalties like Samir Handanovic, his quality is exceptional.
15th May 2021, He stopped a penalty from Cristiano Ronaldo with such a powerful move that got me rubbing my bald head because his save killed my betting slip...
The same with their league clash 17th October, 2020 with A.C. Milan, He stopped a penalty kick frm the self acclaimed god of football, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and also destroyed my betslip...
As in He's so famous for that so I will choose him over and over again to help me out.

Goalkeepers are not really recognized in football because they don't score breathtaking goals but it comes to pulling the strings in the backline, they are absolutely good. A team can not be formidable without a goalkeeper at his best.
Kepa Arrizabalaga is one person I will trust when it comes to penalty shoot-out. He has flaws and that is he was entrusted with the post but pardon to say, his young in question has saved penalties for the Blues. Kepa Arrizabalaga of Athletic Bilbao was rated the and Chelsea fought to secure but he is yet to live up to that expectation but when it comes to penalty saves, he has a good record. He is good and I will choose him to be in between the sticks for me when it comes to penalty shoot-out.
I can not in a hurry, Europa League 2019 semi-final, he was supposed to be substituted but he proof adamant and stayed on the pitch. The match ended in penalty and he made 2 brilliant saves and Chelsea emerged to the finals and defeated Arsenal to win that Trophy. He might seen as a waste as a waste especially with Mendy brilliant form, but penalty shoot-out, i go with Kepa because he knows to read a player leg during the spot kick.

Kepa pulls up saves when you least expect. Not a bad choice he would def make the difference.

When we talk about goalkeepers we talk about one of the lowkey most important element of a football team. The truth is having a good goalie to man the goal post would make an average team look solid, because a good goalie can come to teams rescue making sure they don't conceive many goals. During penalty shoot out, a good goalie can easily save the team and put them in a better position to win titles.
If eventually, i get a chance to pick a goalkeeper to man the post in a penalty shoot out involving my team then i would throw my hats to Edwin van dar sar.
The dutch born ex Manchester united ex- goalie won so many tittles for Manchester united and one of this famous title win was in a penalty shoot out against Chelsea football club, where van der sar made an important save to ensure Manchester united won the champions league.
Edwin van der has the reflex of a fox and the confidence of a lion. i strongly believe with him manning the goal post in a penalty shoot out against any team in the world, van der sar would save the day.

Penalty shootout especially in finals is a life changing moment, it is the moment between happiness and sadness. It is really hard to trust a goalkeeper for moments like this. That's why we always see clashes in coaches choice during penalty shootout, an example is when sarri wanted to remove kepa to put in Cabellero during the FA Cup match.
For me I would trust and choose Mohamed Abou Gabal the egyptian goal keeper. He his good in making decision and doesn't hesitate in diving to the ball. We can see how he saved penalties during the AFCON and I have seen some of his clips where he saved penalties too.
So for me, I would choose him to stay in post in a defining moment like that.

It's really hard to trust a penalty saves to a particular goalkeeper because sometimes it's all about luck.
But I will go for the 33year old Zamalek and Egyptian goalkeeper, Abou Gabal. African goalkeepers are really underrated in world football, still they silence their critics.
The goalkeeper saved 6 penalties in the just concluded African cup of nation. It is unbelievable of a goalkeeper to save penalties consistently.
I would definitely check him out. Sounds promising.
Thank you for this daily challenge. Football is a game, and it consists of different positions. Looking at the goalkeeping side, a team should always make sure they get a well performing keeper. If I have been asked of a keeper to stand in poles for penalties in a final league game,I will go for Kepa Arizabalaga. He is 27 years old and a Spanish. He is the most expensive keeper in the world. He plays for Chelsea in the English premier league. He has made penalty saves than any other Chelsea keeper in the club history. He was the one who save the last penalty that gave Chelsea their first time UEFA super cup. He has helped Chelsea fc a lot through penalty shoots. That is the reason why I will go Kepa Arizabalaga.

Hoy me corresponde si fuera un técnico, pensar en fichar a un buen portero, que podés seguridad y confianza en el arco y así como hakimi fue seleccionado como mi lateral.
Hoy puedo pensar sin tener ninguna duda, en darle una tanda de penales a Thibaut Courtois. Y es que para mí su análisis de cada jugador es demasiado importante. Su estudio de posible pateadores, le hizo lograr detener un penal decisivo por pase a champions a nada más y nada menos que Lionel Messi.
Para mí el portero que ficharía para mí gran equipo es el.
