QUESTION
We have seen on several occasions that players tend to leave their boyhood clubs for much bigger clubs during transfer windows. This is usually because they have higher aspirations for growth and achievements. But there are also some people who see that as betrayal of the club. What is your take on that?

Footballers can have different goals or aspirations, but something that everyone wants is to play at the highest level and get to win everything, for this reason most are always willing to accept an offer from an elite club, during such departures is always good to cut a relationship as friendly as possible, thanking and leaving the doors open to a possible return to the club that saw you born or to finish the football career, this can be something that will please the fans, as they will realize that because you have taken that decision.
That is to say, as a player I would leave the club in search of excelling more in my career, but trying to be liked by everyone and not be criticized, for example: There are players who have been applauded by the toughest fans in the world or even by opposing teams, as has happened to Ronaldinho.
As you can notice I deviated from the original question and it is because as a player regardless of the decisions we make we must always have a good way of acting to have the doors open anywhere and get to meet our aspirations, that way you can not be seen as treacherous, on the contrary and even the fans can come to blame the board for your departure, as is the case of Messi, a beloved player who sought other opportunities and that surely in a return will be welcomed in the best way.
In the end these decisions are made looking to grow as a person or athlete, it is not only economic, it is to achieve our goals and dreams.

Well for me I think football should be a journey, a player should prove himself or herself in different clubs and country. My reason for this is that every league or country have different style of play and tactics they used. A player should show that they can adapt anywhere they go, that's what distinguishes a versatile player from just a player.
For example the italian type of football is mostly defensive and being able to convert the few opportunity they have. While the English style is more of a balanced, physical, tactical teamwork. The german football is mostly all attack, high pressing, goal scoring tactics.
We have seen lots of good players, doing fantastic leave their clubs or league and move to another league, only for them to struggle the the demand of the new league. Some of them adapt with time, while some goes back to their former league. A good Example is Memphis Delay who left lyon as their star player and came to manchester united with high expectations, only for him to end up as a flop in the premier league. So he has to go back to his french league to pick is form back. Another example is Angel Di Maria.
Another example is Cristiano Ronaldo who left his clubs and always do well in all the clubs and league he goes.
So for me I don't really think a player needs to dedicate is career to a team. If I was a player I wouldn't dedicate my whole career to a team, although the team will always mean a lot to me, but I will leave to another league to test myself and also grow as a player, and achieve more.

Aside everything before a footballer starts his footballing career he already has his life planned out. We must come to a common consensus that most footballers love what they are doing even though some of them go into football because of the money. Football is a career and as such footballers also want to grow when they are playing so I think it will be pretty awkward if you are in a club where you are not growing and then you are given a chance to go to a club that will help you grow by helping you to win trophies and then you will turn it down.
As a footballer, you will like to oneday retire and then he also respected and also know worldwide. No matter how good you were if you do not have any trophies no one will really rate you are a brilliant player.
I think it’s perfectly normal that when you do leave some fans will see it as a betrayal because they feel like the club gave you everything and then you left them and went to a different when the opportunity came to earn more money. But aside the money the player too needs trophies.
For me I Will prefer leaving for a leaving for a bigger club to compete at a higher level.

En toda carrera profesional siempre se busca un crecimiento, poder tener un avance de progreso y en el fútbol es totalmente lo mismo. Me parece que lo mejor para un jugador es poder irse a un club de mayor categoría, su corazón siempre va permanecer en ese club que lo llevo al estrellato pero si ese jugador desea escalar aún más su nombre debe ir a un club más grande, también los mejores jugadores buscan retos que los motiven a seguir mejorando y poder ir a otro club de mayor peso puede ser un gran detonante para que ese jugador siga mejorando en todas sus habilidades.
No me parece que sea traición si el club que te hizo una estrella no tiene proyecciones grandes de lograr títulos importantes, si ese club es pequeño comparado a otro club más grande, yo elegiría tomar ese rumbo en mi carrera, también eso genera que el jugador pueda ganar un mejor sueldo en un club más grande y lo económico en todos los jugadores siempre será importante. Todo se trata de etapas, así que la etapa de convertirte en una estrella debe ser de gran satisfacción, pero si el jugador quiere ser el mejor del mundo tiene que demostrarlo en un equipo más grande y por eso la idea de seguir el camino en otro equipo me agrada mucho y no creo que sea traición si no más bien un gran avance para el jugador.

For me I will stay but it depends on the level of the club. For instance if I breakout as a star from a team like Chelsea or Bayern Munich that has the capacity to compete at the highest level and am a regular with lucrative contracts, I will stay

My answer to the above question is no. And my reason being that; as a player growing up I have tried a lot to get access to the first eleven of my team. And my manager have tried a lot for me to succeed. And as a star now in my team, am getting the chance to play my position well and am getting love from the funs.
Most players do this mistake and it eat them up sometimes, though some succeed in changing clubs after gaining fame in their former clubs.
Let’s take Eden Hazard for example, when he was in Chelsea, he was the best player, scoring goals and being the star player. But when he moved to Real Madrid, all of that varnished from him, and he’s now getting injured every time.
Though other players like Neymar am d co- moved from their former teams and it even increased their stardom.
So everything have both merits and demerits. But I will stay in my club, to be recognized as the best man, though I can move when the necessity arises.
