Introduction
Hello Steemians!
It is a great day again on this platform. This is the second day of week 3 of season 2 engagement challenge which was orchestrated by steemitblog team on steemit platform. For the purpose of those that might be reading my article for the very first time, I am Kehinde Micheal and I am from Okeho, a town in Oyo State Nigeria. Today, I will be discussing another interesting topic today. In this post, I will be discussing my Technology world which is the Azerbaijan community contest's topic for week3 of season 2. What is Technology?
Simply put, technology is the process of applying knowledge accumulated through scientific learning, study and observing into real life problem for the benefit of people in the world. Technology makes it easy to apply theoretical scientific knowledge into real life problem for the benefit of mankinds.
For instance, the study of light in elementary physics is the scientific knowledge acquired by the founder of electric bulb which was later put to practical and that makes the creation of bulb possible. Hence, electric 💡 is advantageous today to humankind as a result of practical use of scientific knowledge by a man.
Technology has revolutionalized every sector, businesses, education, institution, agriculture, energy, health, finance etc, enjoy the benefit of technology. And Interestingly, as the world changes face, technology keeps improving, or should I say that technology keeps changing the face of the world. I believe it is Technology that makes the world revolutionalized. Therefore, technology is a big aspect that we must study, and embrace.
Technology is not something big as we do think. Technology starts from using simple scientific knowledge and rule to create things that can reduce human drudgery and stress in everyday activity.
Introduce the technical products you use. At what level do you use your phone, computer, smart watch, the latest technological products?
There are so many technology we have around us. In fact, I can say that no matter where you are, if you can just check around you, you will see a lot of technology and technical product. In fact, your room or house is surrounded by technical products.
Some examples of technology or technological product that we use are but not limited to; internet, smart phone, wrists watch ⌚, electric iron, car, electric fan, digital camera, laptop, automatic light, ball, sciccors, knife, electric blender, smart board, washing machine, etc.
I used quite a number of technology in my day to day activities. I use smart phone to communicate with people through calling and to chat and to write on the internet. I use smart phone to design and to do many more things that add value to me. Apart from smart phone 📱, I use laptop 💻 to do a whole lot of things. I use it to write essays, to apply for things on the internet, to write articles, and to interact with windows application and software.
Another technological product I use is electric iron. I am someone that don't like to wear clothes or appear shabby. That a man does not have many clothes does justify him to look awkward or rough. The little one he has can serve him well if he watches them and iron them. So the little I have, I iron them after washing so that I look good and great. Electric iron is a technological product that help so many people to iron their clothes.
Power bank is another great technological product I use everyday. The epileptic supply of electricity in some part of the world makes it difficult for people to use their mobile or smart phone at anytime. Thank God for technology of power bank, a device that can store charges for the use of smart phone. I use power bank to charge my phone when there is no charge on it.
Someone might say, don't you use small technology? I do. I use knife 🗡️, cooking gas, blender to grind pepper, electric torch and I have satellite finder. More on each of them will be discussed in the next topic.
For a more comprehensive, comprehensive article, you can highlight the years and brands of phones you use to the present day.
In this section, I am going to be discussing some of the technological product I use and the time I have been using them. Let's me start with my smart phones.
My Smart phones
I know someone will say, "phones"? Calm down, I am not a custodian of phones. I just have two. The first smart phone I will introduce to you is my Infinix Hot 4.
The picture uploaded above is the picture of my Infinix Hot 4. I got the phone in December, 2016 during my Internship when I was in 400 level in college. Then, I got the phone at a rate of NGN 46,000 (Fourty six thousand naira) in Ilorin, Kwara State Nigeria. It was during the time of MMM of Mavrodi of Russia 😀.. I hope you remember MMM right? Since then I have been using the phone. I used the phone to do so many things. I can recollect the Zwerl platform that I engaged in in January 2019, it was the Infinix Hot 4 I used to earn some monies on the Zwerl platform then.
Apart from this, I used this infix phone to do a whole lot of things. In fact, it was this phone I used to register on steemit platform last year. All the engagement and crypto home work post were done with it.
But recently, the phone started to give me problem and I had reason to change it. Then I got another Infinix phone about 2 month ago. The name of the infinix note 11 X663.
The image uploaded above is the picture of my new phone, Infinix Note 11, X663. I got the phone at NGN 110,000 (One hundred and ten thousand naira) on 7th of May 2022. But I started using it a week after I bought it because there was no power supply for almost a week then. Since then, I have been enjoying my engagement on steemit platform, chatting with people and of course some applications I am doing.
My Laptop Computer
Another technological product I use often is laptop computer 💻. The name of the laptop I use is HP 250. I got it in 2015 when I was in 300 Level. I think I got it around NGN 80, 000 (Eighty thousand naira). It was a departmental mate that helped me got it. I saw his own that he was using them and I love how portable it was and then asked him to help me get the same type. So I gave him the money and he helped me got it and deliver it to me.
The image uploaded above is the picture of my HP laptop. As you can see, the laptop has suffered too much in my hand 😀.. The reason I got the laptop was because of machine design, AUTOCAD. I learnt machine design with the laptop and I used it for my projects in school. I still use the laptop up to today. I can not forget how my hostel mates and I used the laptop for PES evolution soccer ⚽... Kai! The laptop suffered much..
My Electric Iron
Electric Iron is another Technological product I use. I use this product to press my clothes so that when I wear them they can look good on me and that I myself can look good to people. I got the iron few months ago at Dugbe Market in Ibadan Nigeria. The iron cost NGN 3000 plus. The picture of the iron is uploaded below.
My Power Bank
Apart from the Technological products I mentioned above, I also use power bank. Considering the epileptic supply of power in my area, I cannot but use this product. I use the gadget to store charges when there is power supply. Then I use it to power and charge my smart phone. The picture of the power bank I am talking about is uploaded in a screenshot below.
As seen in the screenshot above, the name of the power bank is New Age. This power bank was gotten in December, 2021 at NGN 11,000 at Iyana Church, Ibadan Nigeria. The power bank is now 6 months old now. The power bank capacity is 15,600mAh with input equal to DC5V/2.0A, and DC5V/1.5 and DC5V/2.1 output 1 and 2 respectively.
Conclusion
In this post, I have briefly explained what technology is and how it has shaped the world and still shaping the world. I have also mentioned some technological products we use in our day to day activities and more importantly I have listed and discussed some Technological products that I use often and I also explained how, when and where I got some of this products. 😂😂This actually reminds me of my old Lenovo laptop . I have abuse the laptop soo much that it became slow at a point.
I must admit that the specs of the laptop was not up to task even though I liked the ROM in it. It’s had a 1YB ROM capacity which I always used to oppress friends who had better laptops but had 500 gb ROM😂.
The ram was merely 3gb which was not really up to task.
Hahaha... You really did you the laptop meh ... If the laptop should come back to world, it won't branch your abode. 😀

Mehn this your gadget don turn legend o o especially your laptop. Well I understand. Sometimes it difficult to let go of stuffs that has been serving well even when there are seeming alternatives,there is just this connection you have with gadget that have served you for a long time. Technology has made life sweet, years past where there was nothing like electric iron people only use charcoal iron to iron clothes and those clothes comes out dirty but now you iron your cloth with electric iron the cloth will be cute, I like your phone but it's quite on the high side to be compare to my income. Well-done
Yes oo.. Gone are those days when you will be doing a lot of fanning before you can iron your clothes... And what of the glow of charcoal on clothes... Thank God for technology that keeps advancing every day.

Yes, I remember that time dear. It was a mouth watering opportunity for most people even though it swallowed most people's investment.
If you go back now to buy that phone, the price would have doubled.
Technology is everywhere and you are lucky to have access to them. When I was in school, I didn't have access to android phone. I had that Samsung blue rays for calls alone. Life is surely better now with technology. Thanks for sharing dear. Success to your entry

Technology has made the world closer and improving because without it neither I nor you would have known any platform called Steemit. Almost what we use at home now are product made through technology.
