RE: Commenting is an Art : Tips to be a Good Commenter
Commenting is, indeed, an art.
But it's also an essential part of authentic engagement; a "conversation" of sorts between the creator and the reader/consumer of a piece of content. And so part of the overall process is also to start with engaging content.
In the past days of Steemit, there was a lot of conversation and discussion of the whole notion of "quality" content. But in social media, is it really quality we need? Or is it more a case of value we need? If a piece of content adds value to the social media experience, perhaps it's not always the quality wee need to scrutinize. After all, most people aren't Pulitzer Prize winners...
People tend to make conversations in real life but I'm wonder why they say "good bye" so soon in comments. Ha ha.. But you are correct, conversation is the sign of engagement. May be their busy life style force them to quickly skip from a conversation.
The quality vs value.. It is my personal opinion, the value is a part of quality. But in other hand, there can be a person who can gives a good knowledge but unable to organize his content. There is value but low quality. There are two kinds of people I see in steemit. :) You can guess.. As in normal life people with similar characteristics cluster together and they grow together. :)
