We ordered lunch, one special compact food plate consisting of several vegetables, rice, tandoori roti (bread) yogurt, papadam and sweets, etc. Actually the food in one plate is enough for two of us so we asked for extra bowls.

As stated above we ordered a plate of special food listed as special thali which is prices at INR 310 or roughly 55 Steem and a bottle of water around INR 25/4 Steem.

An Indian meal with vegetables, rice, yogurt, roti, and other side‑dishes tastes earthy, mildly spiced, and comforting. The rice and roti are soft and slightly nutty, the vegetables are warmly seasoned with cumin, turmeric, and fresh herbs, and the curd adds cool, tangy creaminess that balances the spices.

This combination is very nutritious: it provides energy‑giving carbohydrates from rice and roti, fibre and vitamins from vegetables, probiotics and calcium from curd, and sustained fullness from protein and fibre, which supports gut health, digestion, and stable energy levels.

My rating is based on “Good quality food at affordable prices,” with standard items and sweets that match the mid budget range. However, sometimes I feel that they should reduce their rate, but as usual the value depends on what you order and your expectations.

Kailash Chat Bhandar can improve by focusing on three main areas:

Food consistency and taste – standardize recipes and regularly check freshness so every plate tastes as good as per the orders.

We paid at the counter in cash so to save GST which would be around INR70/12 Steem

Although they keep their hygiene standards high and stalls setup also the counters, utensils, and seating area clean, and protect food from dust and traffic pollutants so I feel I have no suggestion on this and if they reduce their standard, I will stop going there.
