Like every day, I woke up in the morning and had Sehri. Then I freshened up and sat down to read a book and went to the field at 10 am. Then a friend of mine came to me and said, let's go to Rangpur Zoo today. I agreed to his words. Because I have a motorcycle. It will take only one and a half hours to go to Rangpur Zoo by motorcycle. In fact, the joy of going somewhere with friends is different. As per the friend's advice, we left at 11 am. And we reached Rangpur Zoo at 12.40 pm.

The name of this place is Rangpur Recreation Park and Zoo. It is one of the largest and most popular zoos in the northern region of Bangladesh. The zoo is located in the Police Lines Road area of Rangpur city. Inside the zoo, there are various kinds of animals and birds, a green natural environment. The zoo remains open every day from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, people of all ages can visit here. This zoo is for everyone.

The overall structure of Rangpur Zoo is very well planned. The entire zoo area is divided into different sections. So that the visitors can easily explore the zoo beautifully without any hassle. The animal enclosures have been designed very carefully. A safe distance has been maintained to ensure both the safety of the animals and the safety of the visitors visiting the zoo.
The environment of the zoo is peaceful and noise-free. Due to the presence of many fruit trees and flowering plants inside the zoo, the area always feels green and cool. The zoo is located away from the noisy places of Rangpur city. Which makes visiting the zoo more enjoyable. Cleanliness and tidiness are well maintained throughout the Rangpur Zoo.
The decoration of the zoo is simple but very attractive. Flower gardens and small fruit trees have been planted at different places to enhance the natural beauty of the zoo. In front of each animal's cage, there are nameplates and information boards that will help visitors learn about the various animals and birds.

To enter the zoo, visitors have to buy the necessary tickets by paying cash. The main entrance ticket of the zoo costs 20 tk per person. The revenue from these tickets is collected by the local government and deposited in the government fund. Which is later used for the development and maintenance of the zoo.
There are many types of animals in this zoo. One of the most notable animals is peacock. Peacock is one of my favorite animals. Peacock I like very much. It is a calm bird. They are not dangerous for us. So the zoo has provided the facility to watch them from right in front of their cage.

One of the most notable animals in Rangpur Zoo is the hippopotamus. Hippopotamus like water bodies and are seen spending most of their time underwater. Their bodies are huge. Their cages are made of strong and sturdy materials. Because they can be dangerous for visitors. They like to eat watermelons, pumpkins, etc.

Horse is an animal familiar to us all. However, horses can now be seen in all areas. Horses are practically non-existent in many areas. However, there are several horses in Rangpur Zoo. Among them was a red horse. Which I really liked.

I saw an endangered animal, a vulture, at the zoo. There are several vultures in the Rangpur Zoo. They protect the environment by eating the flesh of dead animals.

The most attractive animal in the zoo is the lion. However, their cage is surrounded by a cage in such a way that we cannot see their faces well. Even if we see them from a distance, their faces cannot be clearly understood when taking pictures with a camera. They live by eating the meat of herbivores.

The zoo is quite large in size. It takes 1-2 hours to visit the entire zoo. The entire area of the zoo is very clean and well maintained. This zoo is one of the places to visit with the family. There are nice seating areas for the people who visit here. Animals like lions, hippos, zebras, horses, monkeys, and peacocks and vultures made my trip very enjoyable. Overall, I enjoyed my time here very much.
