THE DIARY GAME:18/09/2020: Research Project meeting with supervisor

Hello friends! How are you?

Today is Friday and also today is fully reserved for Individual research project. Since there was no single lecture today. Around 8 o’clock in the morning I woke up and took my breakfast after that I look at every thing related to my research because today we have meeting our research project instructor. Therefore I should get ready for giving answers which ask by my supervisor. Last Tuesday sir told me to prepare a proper methodology to continue my project. Since my project based on slope stability, sir told me to familiarize with Slope/W software. To days ago I downloaded that software and familiarized with is by watching some YouTube tutorials. Therefore I did some analysis part yesterday and therefore I bring a laptop with me tow show my sample analysis to my instructor. Around 10.30 a.m. we meet our research instructor. I showed my progress and describe the method I hope to do. Our supervisor was satisfied with it and gave me some ideas and advice for the remaining works. He told me some modifications to be done and it will help me to do my research properly.

After the meeting, I took my lunch and came to the hostel room. At the evening we prepare tea in the hostel room. One of my friends has an induction cooker. It was an amazing appliance we can use it for cooking if required without any smoke. But now we use it to boiled water to make tea.

Evening time an idea was emergence by me to learn Midas gen software. Then I watched some tutorials from youtube and did the design example and analyzed it. This software mainly used for structural analysis. All around the world huge buildings were analyzed by Midas software. It helps to identify the loads, moment, shear forces of elements, reinforcement requirement deform shape like these. But proper civil engineering Knowledge must be required to work with this software.

At the night I took my dinner from a shop near the hostel and finished the works. Now time to sleep.
