It is very common, we all create videos using sweet photos of our loved ones. It makes them surprise and emotional. You can share these videos in very creative ways.

Sometimes people use WhatsApp status to share such videos, sometimes, directly share the video. I am going to teach you a very simple tech hack to share a video.

Step 1

First of all, you have to create your video. You have to use relevant music and photos to create your surprise video.

I used VivaVideo free trial for this. It is a mobile app with full features. The free trial provides you a number of templates and basic editing features to get your work done. The free trial only allows Normal 480p and Gif qualities to save your video. But this is very enough to make a casual surprise video.

Step 2

Now upload your video to google drive and create a sharable link. You can adjust permission as you wish

Step 3

Take a shorten link. To do this use Bitly. Login bitly using google account so that you'll be able to create a short and customized links for the long google drive link you obtained in step 2.

They generate a link and you can customize it if you want. Make sure to create a simple and readable link.

Step 4

Take a piece of paper and write down the URL using a pen. As the URL is very short, the reader can simply type it in the browser.

Step 5

Draw a cute piece of art on cardboard and paste a double tape behind it. Then role the URL you wrote and tie it using a string. Finally, attach it to the drawing.

Now your message is ready. You can paste the drawing somewhere your loved one can see it. I pasted above one on my brother's door at night and he found it in the morning. He was so excited to type the URL and to reveal what was behind it.

You can similarly use a printed QR code to share your video. Also, you can create a shortened URL and ask your loved one to fill a puzzle to reveal the URL.
