Savar New Market is one of the oldest and most popular shopping malls located in the historic Savar Bazar. Savar is a historical place and some archaeologists believe it was founded more than a thousand years ago. However, this shopping mall is not that old. Though, I don’t know the exact year, I noticed this shopping mall almost 12 years ago. It is located near the Dhaka-Aricha Highway, in Savar Bazaar.

The shopping mall has been built on a large scale. It is a five-story shopping mall and is located in an area of ​​about 25 thousand square feet. There are more than 100 shops on each floor. It has the facilities of two types of elevators. Moreover, each floor has bathrooms and other ancillary facilities.

There are more than 100 shops on each floor of the shopping mall. There is an indoor park for children on the top floor. There are various types of shops in this shopping mall. However, the most common are clothing shops. In addition to the big brands of the country, there are also medium and small-sized brand shops. There are also shoe shops, cosmetics shops, household goods and kitchenware shops, tailors and fabrics, electronic goods shops, hardware shops, mobile shops, and many other shops.

The biggest reason why this shopping mall is popular with shoppers is that they can get good quality items at affordable prices. Although it seems a bit affordable compared to the city, I personally think that the prices of items are a bit higher depending on the location. But most of the customers here compare it to the city without considering the location. Because of this, they think the prices are affordable.

Moreover, due to its location in the largest export processing area of ​​the country, exportable but rejected products are also available here, the quality of which is very high. My personal experience was very good. A good environment, good behaviours, good facilities. Service is available for all.
