Assalamu Alaikum. Greetings Sri Lankan community. How are you all? I hope that by the grace of Allah, you are all doing well. Alhamdulillah, by the grace of Allah, I am also doing well. I pray to Allah that we are always doing well.

Today I want to tell you about all kinds of skills to manage life. Basically, different people in this world earn their livelihood in different ways. Different people are involved in different jobs to manage their families. And among all those jobs, people do most of the work in agriculture, business or jobs. People are most addicted to jobs. People who cannot find jobs do agriculture or decide to do business, but only the above jobs are not enough for our lives.

We are born on earth as humans to work. We will earn our living by working. But that work must be done in a righteous way and must be done immediately in harmony with life.

There are many people in our society who do not want to work. When they see work, they feel reluctant and they feel bored with work. Basically, there are many people who earn their living by lying to people.

One person works tirelessly and another person tries to eat the money of that tireless work by embezzling it. That is, this is called Batpari in our regional language. There are many people in our society who embezzle other people's money and in this way they earn their living. However, all these fraudulent activities are not permanent for life and it can end life. So here I want to tell you a correct solution today.

To manage our lives, we must be connected to our work. We are people of different classes and professions living in this society and this world. While living in the world, we must live in the world with awareness.

Suppose you are a salaried employee. You are managing your life by working. Maybe you have been given a month's leave by the government. So will you come to your village house and sit and eat for this one month or will you be connected to some work?

If you are an intelligent person, then you have already understood my words clearly. Of course you will not sit and eat. That is, you have to be connected to any work within the one month that you have got. Be it agricultural work or one-time job or part-time job.

The habit of sitting and eating ends our lives. Once a person gets the opportunity to sit and eat, he will never want to work and eat again. Therefore, we must create employment opportunities and work in every field of life.

I have seen many people in our village. Who have chosen some other profession along with one. They are managing their lives and earning their livelihood in different ways.

I have seen a man selling fish in the village. After waking up early in the morning, he goes to the bus depot. Then he buys fish at cheap and wholesale prices and goes to the village and sells those fish in retail.

Sometimes when the fish market is very expensive, he stops buying fish. He stops buying fish and then he comes home and starts renting his van. That is, the day that the man buys fish at a cheap price, he sells it in the village. On the day the fish market price is high, he prepares himself as a van for rent with his car.

That is, a person must have two to three ways of earning money. When the road is closed, he can earn his livelihood by using the upper road. And in this way, if a person can prepare for alternative ways of income, it helps a lot in changing his life.

So let's broaden our livelihood avenues. Let's create different avenues of income instead of relying on just one income source. I think this will help make our lives more affordable and beautiful.
