Tutorial to Convert Sbd to Steem for Spud4steem

Why do we do this tutorial?

Most Sri Lankans hope to participate in spud4steem this time. Last time we had 6 participants from Sri Lanka. And also as a special case, @damithudaya won first place in October. If anyone wants to know how to convert STEEM into SBD, here we will do a tutorial to support the spud4steeem contest.

How to convert Your SBD to STEEM?

Before power-up, you should have STEEM in your wallet. Basically, you have 3 types in your wallet. They are STEEM, SP, and SBD.

You can convert your SBD to Steem very easily. Here is the procedure.

• First, click on the mark on the right side of the SBD value and select the market option.

• Now you're in the SBD-STEEM exchange. This is the interface for the exchange.

• If you want to buy STEEM you should select the Buy STEEM option. If you want to sell STEEM you should select the Sell STEEM option. The actual meaning of ‘Buy Steem’ is you are going to convert your SBD to STEEM. To do the power up You should have STEEM in your wallet. So here you have to select the Buy STEEM option.

• Now you should know the meanings of the parts below.

• Price is the value that you are going to convert your SBD to STEEM. You can refer to the lowest ask value as the price if you want to convert instantly. But here is something you should know.

• Actually the lowest ask is equal to the first value in the Sell orders list. You should carefully see the amount of SBD in the Sell order list. As an example, if you are going to convert 20 SBD to STEEM, check the total value of SBD in the sell orders list and select the price which has more than 20 SBD as the Total SBD. Then you can quickly sell your SBD.

• Now we are going to convert 5 SBD as an example. So we checked the sell order list and The first order already has more than 5 SBD as the total SBD values. So we used that price under the Buy STEEM option. Then we placed the amount of SBD and clicked on the BUY STEEM button. Then you can see below.

• Click on the Ok button and you will get a box to place your Active key. Place your Active key and click on the Sign in.

• Then You will place an order and After a few seconds, your order will be filled if any changes don't happen to the sell order list while you’re placing the order. If the sell order list has changed you may have to close your order and place an order again to convert SBD to STEEM instantly.
