My biggest win for last week was my match against Fabrice Bordes. He is a French guy dealing in Agri-business. He is passionate about tennis. He just joined the ladder 3weeks ago but making steady progress. He was on unbeaten run before landing on me. 😊 I secured victory over him last week on Wednesday when I beat him on scores 6/4 3/6 7/5. It was a very tight match.

I began well by taking the first set on scores 6/4. However things became so tight on my side when my opponent took the second set on scores 3/6. Pressure arose and that's the reason for the tight final set of 7/5. Fabrice had a chance of winning the match after a successful come back in the game when he made it level 5/5 from 5/4. Good enough it was my turn to serve. I made some good powerful serves that made win my game and eventually broke his serve.

The General ladder tennis update for last week.

It was another impressive week of activity. 10 Matches were played. Thomas had to endure 3 sets to dismiss Remmie while Carey made it two-straight against Simon. Louis foiled and crushed yet another coup attempt.

He beat the Lion in two straight sets. Bob had everything clicking for him when he beat Victor in two straight sets. Victor also lost to Yohan who is definitely the player of the week. Yohan, granted Fabrice his first taste of defeat on this ladder, went the distance to beat Alain and triumphed over Timothy.

Fabrice still managed to get a win in the week. He beat Timothy in 3 sets. A win against Tony gave Timothy some consolation. So, Yohan enters the top 8 as Fabrice makes the top 13. Tony, Beatrice and Wilson also moved up, thanks mainly to inactive neighbours.

We start the last week of this season today and Louis seems to be on course for the seasons’ winner title. Victor too looks on course for the seasons’ Most Active Player title. Can Yohan shake up the order at the top? Will Bob and Arturo spoil Louis’s title party?
