Exam Marathon and FYP Struggles: A Balancing Act || 10% Beneficiary set to @steem-nations
Hello, how are you all? I hope you are doing well. Today I am posting after quite a long time because I had exams. I still have one paper left, but there is a gap before it. There were supposed to be a total of 4 papers, out of which 3 were done. These 3 were quite easy for me. My first paper was Statistics and Probability, which is full of calculations I like, and I always score well in math-related subjects. As usual, my paper went well; I didn't make any mistakes. But now I am waiting for the results, hoping I didn't make any mistake unknowingly. However, I am relaxed about it.
The second was a theoretical paper, which I don't like at all, but since it was conceptual and required us to write everything in our own words with no fixed definitions, it was just okay. I won’t say it went great, just okay. Yesterday, I had another calculation paper, Numerical Computing, which was extremely easy. I only prepared for it in the last 2 to 3 hours, and the paper was easy, so it went well. These 3 papers were quite chill for me.
But the next paper is on Wednesday next week, and it’s a tough one: Design and Analysis, where we have to write algorithms for problems and then do a dry run. I find this quite difficult. The biggest issue right now is the FYP meeting scheduled during the exam period because of which we couldn’t work on this week's milestone. So today we will dedicate the whole day to FYP because I have to start preparing for the paper from tomorrow. This time the exams have stretched over 2 weeks, unlike before when they used to finish in just one week. Because of these 2 weeks, we will have both papers and classes in the second week. We have to attend classes on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, prepare for the paper, work on the FYP, and also attend the FYP meeting. They have made a pretty odd schedule for us this time.
We will try our best to complete the FYP milestone today, but let’s see what happens. For the first time, I didn’t make any silly mistakes in the exams; usually, I always make some kind of unnecessary mistake in the mid-exams, which I shouldn’t. But this time, I didn’t, so I am feeling quite relaxed and happy.
