The Diary Game '7-8-22' What my father means to me..

Assalamualaikum, how's everybody doing in this hot weather? I'm praying for rain again in Karachi so that the temperature will be survivable. Sorry to use this word but I just **hate** summer season and I don't think I'd ever be able to like it.

Father is the only man who loves his daughter more than anything. He is the first person who enters the life of a girl, gives her his life and sacrifices too much for her happiness.

There's one common saying that A girl wants a man like her father. The proverb means she looks for the same quantity and quality of love, warmth and contentment from her partner that she has always received from her father.
Same the case is with me to be honest. Nobody just nobody can take his place in my heart and my love for him can never be decreased no matter who steps in my life in future.

It was my baba's birthday on 7th August. I always give him something as a gift on his day. That's another discussion that those things are bought from his own money lol. I couldn't give him anything this time but just brought his favorite cake.

On the way to home from some work, I asked my brother to stop the vehicle as there were some bakery named Ayat-e-sheereen sweets and bakers located in Tariq road to get the cake. I have always been a confused person in taking decisions especially while purchasing something. Usually I order from Delizia or Kababjees as they offer some fantastic flavours of chocolate but my baba doesn't really like chocolates so.. From choosing pineapple to butter scotch and then ended up buying a Walnut cake. It was only liked my baba himself and no one else ate it, you know the reason why..

My dearest baba turned 47 this year. My words would never be able to describe my affection for him. He is the only person in this world whom I trust the most, with whom I share almost everything. From my friends, college, studies, relatives, pressures to many different things. I even rely on him in various situations.

I don't know should I say it or not but If someone asks me whom do I love more among my parents, I would have my father in mind immediately. Most people take their mother's name, but my choice is only because of my distinct amount of attachment with one of the parents. Otherwise my mother and I love each other too Alhamdulillah.

Well this is not just one sided love, I am also his first priority among all my siblings. He doesn't say it but his actions tell me everything.. He takes care of me more than my mother, turns the AC on if he sees me sweating, kisses my forehead while sleeping, brings my favorite foods, gives me gifts on my birthday, discusses most of the calamities or stressful events of life with me, finds it easier to share things with me and listen to my advices carefully.
There's one very true quote that say “A daughter may outgrow your lap but she'll never outgrow your heart.” I can never imagine my life without him!**

It was evening and they were planning something. I didn't want to go but my younger sister insisted baba to take us somewhere out. On our drive baba said 'Let's go to a restaurant'.

It was some new restaurant 20 minutes from our home and the taste was amazing. Fast foods were juicy and delicious. Well we are kinda simple people and rarely go on long drives and fancy restaurants.

We were home too soon like around 10. Now a days due to vacations I've been sleeping till 2 or 3. So I looked for the needed ingredients and started making Rasgully (A sweet dish made with with milk) with the help of Food Fusion's recipe which I had been watching from past few days. They were ready after almost two hours and it was too astonishing for baba as they were mouth-watering. The taste was so surprising compared to my overall cooking skills lol. I don't cook or bake as of now and that's why baba keeps teasing me for this! I know I'll do wonders in this too when I would need to ;)

That's all about the day. May ALLAH bless everybody's father more, keep them in his care and give them a life full of happiness and righteous deeds. Ameen
