As we All know @steemitblog and STEEMIT PAKISTAN have started a very good contest together which is very interesting. And the new challenge that comes with this contest is Favorite Cultural or Religious Festival. I am about to share the festival with you people is my Religious Festival and Muslims know it well. And this is Shab-E-Barat (Night of Forgiveness)
So let's Start the post.
Shab-E-Barat
Before Ramadan, the Sha'ban eighth month of the Islamic calendar, On the thirteenth or fourteenth of this month One such beautiful night comes About which we Muslims believe and believe that Allah Almighty writes the destinies of human beings which they will spend in the coming year. This destiny is written on the basis of man's record of deeds of the previous year. With great enthusiasm and devotion the Muslims celebrated This festival 15 days before the great blessings Month of Ramadan.
Prophet MUHAMMAD ﷺ Said That Allah almighty take decisions of every thing that relates humans like welfare, life, death and sustenance.
When the night of the middle of Shabaan comes, Allah descends to the lowest Heaven and says,
“Is there anyone begging for forgiveness that I might forgive him?
Is there anyone begging for sustenance that I may feed him?
Is there any such and such?
And we are told that Allah stays at this lowest heaven ready to accede to our legitimate requests until the break of dawn.”
Meanings and History
Shab-E-Barat means The day of the Atonement or the night of forgiveness. It is beautiful night with great blessings, In which every Muslim seeks forgiveness from Allah Almighty for his sins What he has done. And also prays for the blessings of the coming month of Ramadan. Muslims seek forgiveness from Allah Almighty for their sins and start preparing for the month of Ramadan.
In Arabic, this night is known as Lailatul Bara'at. And that means the night of freedom. On the other hand, if we talk about Persian language, then in Persian language Shab means night and Barat means the night of Commission.
In some people point of view this night is a Good Fortune in which Prophet MUHAMMAD ﷺ Visit some Fortune houses and heal their afflictions and pray for Suffering humanity. In other words, this night is called the night full of blessings. It is also said that this night celebrates the Entry of Prophet MUHAMMAD ﷺ into the Mecca. Shia Muslims relate this night to their last Imam birth.
Celebration
On this beautiful and blessing festival Homes are decorated with beautiful lights and Bazar also decorated with bulbs. Fire works makes the sky beautiful and every thing light up with firework. Lights are everywhere this night. Muslims awake all night and ask forgiveness from Allah Almighty and worship Allah Almighty.

It looks there are beautiful scenery and winds of grace blowing. It is a night in which every human being wants to be close to Allah Almighty And he only prays to Allah Almighty to forgive him for his sins, And may the coming year be full of blessings for him.
Shab-E-Barat is a very Phenomenal festival and And it is celebrated in a very beautiful way. A variety of sweets are made, Halwa-Puri is at the top of the list. One of the most beautiful things about this night is that whatever is made in the Sweets is sent to the all other houses specially neighbors' houses.
It is a beautiful feeling that everyone is distributing sweets in each other's homes. The most delicious food of this festival is Halwa Puri, Which makes this festival even more beautiful. Halwa Puri is also eaten on ordinary days but special arrangements are made on the occasion of Shab-E-Barat The taste of this thing changes with the suitability of this occasion.
On the occasion of Shab-e-Barat, Halwa Puri is a favorite of every man, woman, young and old everyone just want to taste Halwa Puri. It can be thought of as the first step towards preparing for the blessed month of Ramadan before it arrives.

On this night every Muslim worships Allah Talha specially and tries his best to please before Allah. Because Allah Almighty grants general forgiveness, every Muslim strives to purify himself by asking Allah Almighty for forgiveness of his sins. The Holy Quran is recited and Nawafil is performed in this blessing night from whole Muslim Ummah.
No worship can be done without sincerity and intention. And Allah Almighty only likes intention. We should perform any act of worship or any deed with sincerity so that we may be rewarded by Allah Almighty. So guys this was my post I hope you guys liked it thank you so much for reading my post
