I read it on internet today:

"You are not living if you are not regretting"

And I think it will stay with me forever. Atleast, I am not getting over this anytime soon. I mean, how much we have normalised thinking about past and regretting opportunities that we missed, regretting actions that we should have taken, regretting choices that we should have opt, regretting decisions that we should have made/not made etc. Being an over thinker, I spent a lot of my time thinking and processing things that has passed. And I can't stop regretting over a lot of them. But I think its normal to re-think and regret things because that is what we call 'living'.
A very warm hello to my beautiful readers. I hope you all are having an amazing day. I am also doing great. Let me share my another diary with you guys :)

MORNING
Today was monday but unfortunately I had tons of chores to do today that have been on pending since the whole hectic previous week. I woke up at 11 am and to my surprise, weather sky was so cloudy today. Yes its a big blessing for us karachiites because here we only get to experience extreme hot weather with very few chances of rain. I really wished for rain today but unfortunately, clouds signed off after mid-day and sun took over. The weather got so hot after mid-day.
I woke up and checked my phone. Scrolled through social media for a bit. And then got out of bed. I made my bed and went to bathroom to get fresh. Then I made breakfast for myself. Today I was in mood of good desi breakfast. So I fried frozen paratha for me and an half fried egg along with a tea. It was a good breakfast after so long!

AFTERNOON
I finished my breakfast and watched a podcast on television. While listening to the podcast I mopped over the floor and did dishes because my house help does'nt work on sundays. So I did all the house chores. After I was done with all the work I heard Qulfi vendor sound and ran to the terrace. There I saw him and bought Qulfis for everyone.

It was so refreshing to eat such yummy and vold Qulfies in this hot weather.

EVENING
At 5 pm my mother and sister went for a walk to a nearby park while me and my nano (grandmother) were home. I checked pantry to see if there's any popcorns left and luckily there was one packet left. So I cooked some of them for myself and nano. We both enjoyed popcorns.

Meanwhile, I got an idea of doing nail art for my nano. I wanted to try it on her as she doesn't apply nail paints because of all the weakness and illness that comes with age. I wanted to cheer her up and tried peel off nail paints on her nails. At first she was scared and asked me ' what if it doesn't get off my nails?'
Because of her weak memory she has forgot about all this stuff, actually. I assured her that I'll take it off very easily. She got satisfied and I applied nail paint on her very cute hands.

I peeled it off after a very short while because I didn't want her to get confused over it.

NIGHT
My mother and sister got back home at 7 pm. My mother had plan to make Fish Curry for tonight's dinner but me and my sister doesn't really like to eat Fish Curry. So my sister decided to make Chicken Spaghetti for is both.
While I was in a mood of making Gulab Jamun. I checked fridge and took out Gulab Jamun packet. I read the recipe written over the packet. It was quite easy. I gathered all the ingredients and started making it.

This packet had dry mixture in it. I added oil and an egg into this mixture. And started kneading it. It turned out to be a solid ball like this:

Then I made small balls from it. There were 18-20 balls. I heated up the oil and deep fried these balls at medium to low flame.

After 10 mins of frying, I took out the balls from oil and dipped them in a sugar syrup for about half and hour. Then I dished out the Gulab Jamuns and they were so good in taste as well as in looks.

In the meanwhile my sister was also done with making spaghetti.
I ate spaghetti first and then served Gulab Jamuns to everyone. Everybody loved them.

When we were done with dinner, both of my brothers were feeling a little off. They both told me they are having body ache and have blocked nose and bad throat. I checked their fever it was slightly above from normal body temperature. Actually both of them went to Cow Mandi yesterday, I thought they are tired or something. But fever put me in doubt and I quickly tested them both for covid. But thank God they both were Covid negative.

Maybe they are feeling low because of tiredness. I gave them hot milk with honey and asked them to rest. I hope they get better in the morning.

I would end my diary here. Hope you guys enjoyed reading it.
Take care!
Good Bye :)
