DAILY DIARY | LUNCH REVIEW | 2/6/22 | CLUB 5050 | 10% to @pak-charity

Assalam o Alaikum my fellow Steemians! Hope you are doing great. This is Rida Aly, back with another food review for you guys. Hopw you'll find it helpful.

MORNING:
My day started off with a text message from my friend who was inviting me to a restaurant for lunch. Actually, it was my best friend's birthday today. And we decided to surprise her at a restaurant. We agreed to meet at a nearby restaurant named "Poulet" which is situated at north nazimabad, Karachi. I was so excited to meet my friends after so long. I quickly left the bed and got freshen up. It was 11 am when I told my mother about my lunch plan today. She told me she was craving for crispy broast last night so I decided to bring that for her on my way back home. I quickly cleaned up the house, got my clothes ready and did breakfast. Then I got a call from my friend saying she is almost ready and will leave for the restaurant in 10.
I hurriedly finished my breakfast and got ready. I was fully ready at 1:30 pm. Then I left home. I reached there around 2 pm. All my friends had already gather there. Including the birthday girl too. I got so happy after meeting my friends.
It was a really cool restaurant with pretty much advanced interior. Their ambience was 9/10. It was a small place, not too big and perfect for small gatherings.

I was eager to see their menu card because I've heard so many good reviews about this place.
When I saw their menu card I noticed they have some unique kinda thing with their burgers. They didn't have buns with burgers. Instead of bun, they were serving it with a croissant. Which was a very unique thing for me.

We ordered:
4 poppin tenders
1 classic burger
1 classic devour fries
2 katsu & bar bq chicken

Our order arriver after 30 mins. And their presentation was beyond our expectations.

Their food was looking heavenly and that classic presentation was a cherry on top. But if we talk about their taste, it was average. I liked poppin tenders but the remaining things were just average. Although my friends really liked their order but mine was just fine. I had order classic devour fries and poppin tenders for myself, out of which I likes poppin tenders the most. Their sauce was also really good. Everybody has their own kinda taste buds, but for me it was an average experience.
Before leaving, I ordered chicken broast for my mother and took it to home with me.

EVENING:
It was almost 4:30 pm when I came back home. I was so tired by then. I served that broast to my mother and went to my room for a nap.
I woke up at 5:30 pm. It was our tea-time because my father had also come back home from office. I made tea for the family and we had a great family time together.

NIGHT:
Then I asked my mother what she's making for dinner. She told me she is going to make Loki as per my father's request. I was not in a mood for this vegetable so I made Chicken Khaousay for myself. I make them through a very simple and quick recipe. Someday I will share my khaousa recipe with you guys too, InshAllah.

After dinner I took out Ice Cream from the freezer and we enjoyed this yummy dessert.

And then I did dishes, cleaned up the kitchen and made green tea for my parents. Then I came to my room and started watching my favourite show New Amsterdam season 4. It is about to end soon and this fact is making me sad.
Anyways, this is how I spent my day.
