A day spent eating good food with good company is never wasted. Today, after so long (maybe after couple of months) I went out for dinner with my family. We have been planning for family dinner since so long but couldn't pull it off because of back to back Eid invites and get togethers at our place. Plus, we had guest from UK, London who were staying at our place since 24th of June. Guests left for london on 15th of July. Then after getting free from all Eid feasts we finally went out for a family dinner at Maharaja Restaurant which is located at North Nazimabad, Karachi.

My day started off at 7:30 am when I woke up for university. I switched off my alarm and went straight to the bathroom. Then I quickly git ready, picked up my bag and white coat and got into the car with an omlette sandwich in my hand which was made by my sweet mother <3
These are the small gestures by mothers which make us realize how much of a big blessing mothers are. Alhamdulillah for this blessing.

I reached university by 8:30 and the weather was so pleasant in the morning. But it git quite hotter in the day. I met my friends and one of them gave me this flower also. So cute, I know.

I spent 5 hours in university, taking back to back lectures. Then came back home by 2 pm, took a shower and went to sleep because I was so tired by then. I woke up at 5 pm the evening when my sister told me we are going for a dinner tonight.

I woke up and found out my father was already home from work. He asked me to make tea for him so I made evening tea for the whole fam and we enjoyed our tea with dry fruits.

After which my mother asked me if I could press her scarf as I was already going to press my clothes. Obviously I agreed to press her scarf but then this happened :

Lol, I know y'all must ne thinking what was my mother's reaction after seeing this. To be very honest I was also scared to disclose this to her but Alhamdulillah when I showed this to her she was not that mad at me. She only gave me an hour long lecture on how to press clothes with full precautions and safety in order to preveng them from getting burnt. She was actually cool today, maybe because she didn't have to cook tonight xD But thank God this scarf didn't created problems for me
After getting done with ironing clothes I got ready and we left for Maharaja Restaurant at 8:30 pm.
We reached therein between 8:45 or 9pm.

First of all we ordered soup. Sad part is they do not offer Family Bowl for soup. So we had to order individual bowls. But the good part is there Chicken Corn Soup was so yummy.
I forgot to take a picture of Soup so y'all just gotta beleive my words, it was really good looking :D
Our order took 30 mins to arrive. And to be very honest it was a task to spend 30 mins there waiting for food. That place was quite chaotic and it was not even covered from top. It was basically an open area and the whole time we were worried what would happen if it starts raining. As Karachi's weather is so unpredictable these days. Plus, that place was so crowded and the tables were placed so close to each other that we could hear the conversation of people sitting on the table next to us. I would say that place had no sense of ambience.
After testing my patience for good 30 mins they served us our order. I was in a very bad mood because the chaos over there caused me a headache too. But gladly, food was delicious which covered the whole mishap for me. We ordered:
Chicken Corn Soup
Maharaja Makhni Handi
Lahori Chicken Karahi
Chicken Manchurian
Egg fried rice
BBQ Platter
Roghni Naan

There food was great in taste but I wish they had cool and calm place for families to sit and eat peacefully. If they can work on their environment then this place would be a 10/10 for me.

This BBQ platter was served with tomato chutney but I think it tasted more good without chutney. It was covered with naan and it looked like they have steamed this whole platter in an oven to give a perfect crisp to naan and a great taste to rice and BBQ inside it.

We ordered roghni naan too which was served quite hot and fresh. But again because of too much chaos there waiters were already having a lot of work load and it took a while long for roghni naan to arrive.

After getting done with dinner we went to Ahbab Sweets which was in our way to home from restaurant. We picked up Three Milk Cake from there. Because there three mil cake is THE BEST three mil cake I have ever eaten. I kid you not, you'll forget Delizia or Hobnob's three milk once you eat Ahbab's three milk.

Then we came home and I changed into my night suit and went to bed because I have ti wake up early in the morning again, for university. I will probably sleep right after posting this.
