Food Mela At My University | Daily Diary | 29/6/22 | Club5050 | 25% payout to @null
A day spent with quality friends eating quality food is never wasted.
By 'quality food' I mean yummy and eye-catching dishes which you are gonna see further in my post. And by 'quality friends' I mean those sincere people who are not the part of 'snake bandwagon' in university. Because if you are a mature person you already might know how much of fake people we come across in university.
Anyways, my today's day was all about food and friends.
Karachi's weather had gone crazy today. Temperature was insanely high. It felt like 49 or 50 degrees. I know it must not be this high but it felt so.
My university has organized Student's Week'22. We have multiple events coming our way but today was Day 1 and it was all about food mela and thrilling sports matches. Various batches played cricket, football, volleyball and table tennis. Sadly, our batch could only win one match of cricket. But I am happy for seniors as they aced the show.
Along with sports, we had Food Mela too. And me and my friends decided to showcase our cooking and baking talents. Yes, we booked one stall for us and made few things to sell them in food mela today.
By now you must have known my obsession for baking. So I baked cupcakes for our stall.
I baked around 18 cupcakes amongst which half of them were of vanilla and half of them were of chocolate flavor.

Sad part is, I forgot to take picture of Vanilla Cupcakes post baking :(
But the good part is, I took some really good pictures of chocolate cupcakes :)

They doesn't only look yummg but they were so yummy in taste too. And I kid you not, they sold out so quickly. I was so happy when all of my cupcakes were sold out with brilliant reviews :)
Now that I am done with sharing my dish with you all. Let me share the other stuff that was showcased in Food Mela. My university students came up with really good ideas. I couldn't beleive they had such brilliant skills in them.
Lets start with others' stalls.

Another of my friend came up with an idea of cinnamon rolls. She is pro at making them. And I also bought one from her. They were so full of taste and extra moist. I loved them.
These are the cookies that were sold by my very talented senior. She even runs her page at instagram and facebook where she receives online orders for cookies. They looked so fresh and yummy.
Oh, these trifle shots. They were to die for! They looked so attractive. And were so good in taste too.
And my best friend came up with her all time famous items, donuts and munchkins. She is so good at making donuts. She always use to make them and bring it to university for us. But this time, she made them to sell at Food Mela. They were a hit, as always.
I am sure you must be having watery mouth right now, after seeing all these yummg pictures of food. But these are just few pictures that I was able to capture. A lot of the stalls were so full of crowd that I could not even reach to them and capture their food.

Those cupcakes are looking so delicious my sister also makes some nice cupcakes and cakes she is currently running her small homebased business and people love her cakes and brownies 😋.. and the weather has really gone crazy its so hot 🥵
