With all the fun filled events coming to an end, there's a little trace of sadness in me. I loved the whole week's vibe, everyday roller coaster routine and chaotic group pictures.
Finally, wrapped up the week with the most lit Qawwali Night ever.
My day started with the most beautiful weather. Karachi has been blessed with rain, finally. Sky showed different colors today. Today's morning sky was so different. It was dark at first.
Then it started to rain quite heavily. And after a whole day of raining, we got to see this stunning sky that costed a lot to us karachiites.
Many people faced hard time during this rain. Rain is not a blessing for everyone. We should take care of people who go through so much during such weather conditions.
I was praying for rain to stop so that I coul attent Qawwali night. Finally, rain stopped at 5 in the evening and I started getting ready. I wore plain black cotton shirt with plain black cotton gharara. And carried a royal blue silk dupatta which had quite heavy embroidery on it.
I got ready and left home at 7 pm. I reached at the venue by 7:30 pm. I met all of my friends and we captured tonnes of pics. It was almost time for qawwali night to began.
Setup was also quite spacious. It was so comfortable for people to sit and enjoy the night.
Taji Brothers did a fabulous job. They are best at what they do. They drove the whole crowd crazy.
In the mean time it was time for dinner. They served us boxes of Biryani along with yummy Qulfi and drinks. We had our dinner and joined the qawwali program again. It was almot 12 am till the programs got ended. And it ended with the most beautiful fire works.
It was indeed a tirring night but every thing was worth the tiredness. I had so much fun. I didn't know a part of me is a big Sufi fan until tonight.
Taji Brothers are full of talent. All of their people had quite good skills. They were enjoying it themselves and made sure every person gets involved into it. Couple of boys could not control themselves and started dancing right in front of the stage. Others joined them too. It was a whole mood. Everyone had their own vibes. I am not really a 'lets have fun' person. At one point it got quite chaotic for me. So I just left the crowd and went to the empty area where I could breathe in an open atmoshphere. After a short while I left for home and texted my friends that I have gone.
I came home and changed into my night suit, took off makeup and went straight to my bed. After posting this I would probably dose off.
