The Diary Game | 29 June 2021 | Tour Day 1 : Karachi to Islu to Swat

Assalam u Alaikum

Warm greetings to all steemians, hope you all are doing good! My name is Zaid and this is my third diary in which I shared my day 1 of tour.

So first of all, let me acknowledge you guys with a little bit of backstory. Im on vacation since the end of June and I was free. So my uncle and aunt decided to go for a week tour, since my uncle was also on a week leave. I had nothing better to reject this plan and, I gotta say, that's one of the best decision I've made that month. Now I know, this is a month old since I didn't joined steemit that time but I would regret if I missed to post these best days of my tour. Let's get back to the diary!!

We woke up early in the morning like 7 30 am since we had to catch a flight for Karachi to Islamabad at 11 30 am. After brush and shower, I was almost ready, just picking up some stuffs that I'll be using. We already packed our bags last night but we got late anyways lol. We reached at at airport at about 11 15 am but like us, the plane was also delayed to 12pm lol. After waiting for some time, we went to the seat, luckily, I got the window seat, a relief for me. After some time, at about 12 15, plane took off.

We reached Islamabad at about 2 30 pm. The weather here was hot but beautiful. Greenery at every place, it was great. We already have hired a car and now it's time for the road trip from Islamabad to Swat, Mingora specifically. That was a long drive man, I slept half of the time during the drive 😂 but I get to see the swat motorway tunnel, that's where the mountaineous regions start, it was beautiful. The long tunnel underneath those mountains, it was a different vibe.

Since it was already a long day, and we were tired because we spent all day traveling, we thought it would be best to find a hotel first for the night. There were many hotels at that place. After looking at some of them, we finally picked one. The name "Swat Palace Hotel" , and luckily we got the room in front of the flowing river. It was so beautiful to watch, It was like I could spent the whole night resting on balcony watching the river, trees and mountains behind it. We rest for some time at the hotel, freshened up, took some pictures there, called some homies.

At about 10 pm, we went outside for dinner. Since, it was a busy route for tourists as there are many hotel in a single route, there were many restaurants. We had no idea what was best there. We just chose a restaurant and ordered food there. The food was fine there. We drank chaii along the way home, well, the "tea was fantastic". After that, I spent some time in the balcony looking at the rivers and mountains, it was calming, then we went to sleep for the next day which I will share in my next diary. Until then,
