I want to start giving some music towards this project. " First publishing must be on Steem blockchain." rule throws me off a little tho. Does this mean I can upload to You Tube but if it's a public video on You Tube I can't use it here? Even if all other rules apply and I share on social media. I really want to try and get a live jam together for you but don't want to break rules

    Sorry for the confusion but that rule is not for Youtube but for other 'similar' blockchains. So you are absolutely more than welcome to share it on the social media you have!

    1. Record a song live performed by yourself
    2. Start the recording with you saying your username and the week we are in. For this you can check the other participants, they all do it right.
    3. Share the link of your YT video in a Steemit post with some extra info if possible. Include your social media links and shares in your posts.
    4. Use hashtag #musicforsteem or/and post in the official MFS community
    5. Thats it. We love it when artists engage with and support other musicians as well!
