What's a healthy lifestyle?
Leading a healthy
lifestyle implies maintaining a healthy diet, and engaging in fitness-related
activities. However, most people nowadays are sedentary; they rarely exercise.
Worse, they are penchant for junk food. Therefore, they gain weight which, in
turn, would lead to serious diseases such as diabetes, cholesterols and even
cancer. The culprit is that they eat food laden with fat and sugar.
Researches
show that people are less sporty. To put it differently, only one in ten
practices sport. In a school setting, children spent most of the time doing
their assignments. Then, they consider indulging in a physical activity a waste
of time. Adults, on the other hand, are busy doing their work, and
thereby allocating no time for sport. Thus, having a culture of healthy
lifestyle should begin at an early age. Schools should serve healthy fresh
food. Moreover, parents should encourage their children to eat more vegetables,
fruits, wholemeal and wholegrain food, rather than an oily one. Parents are,
then, exemplars of a healthy lifestyle.
To put it bluntly, leading a
healthy lifestyle ensure a longer life span without diseases and complications.
