An enjoyable moment in a village life.🌹
Today, about a week later, I am writing something. Last Saturday I was bringing my nephew home from school, we were about to reach home and saw the whole road filled with cotton. Some people were picking cotton from the trees. The scene was beautiful. Since childhood I have seen that there are many cotton trees in our village, this cotton is called Shimul’s cotton and its tree is called Shimul tree by the people of our village. This cotton is very beautiful and very nice pillow is made from it. When I saw this scene, I immediately took some pictures. We can't always enjoy such a scene.
আজকে প্রায় এক সপ্তাহ পরে আমি লিখতে বসলাম। গত শনিবার আমি আমার ভাতিজাকে স্কুল থেকে বাড়ি নিয়ে আসতেছিলাম, প্রায় বাড়ির কাছে এসে দেখি পুরো রাস্তা তুলা তে ভরা। কিছু মানুষ গাছ থেকে তুলা পাড়তেছিল। দৃশ্যটি খুবি সন্দর ছিল। ছোটবেলা থেকে আমি দেখতেছি আমাদের গ্রামে অনেক তুলার গাছ রয়েছে, এই তুলাকে শিমুলের তুলা বলে এবং এর গাছকে শিমুল গাছ বলে আমাদের গ্রামের লোকজন। এই তুলা গুলো খুবই সুন্দর হয় এবং খুবই সুন্দর বালিশ বানানো হয়। আমি যখন এই দৃশ্য দেখলাম, সাথে সাথে কিছু ছবি তুলে নিলাম। সব সময় এমন দৃশ্য দেখতে পাওয়া যায় না।
These cotton trees are very tall and never spread so much cotton around when cotton is picked from the tree. When it is time to pick cotton, one or two people climb on this tall tree and break the fruit or seeds of cotton and throw them down. And the people below pick them up and store them in sacks. The work is done in a very simple way. But as the cotton seeds ripened for a long time, they spread around after the cotton was picked. It is very difficult to sort the cotton after it has been spread; it is not possible to completely sort the cotton in the picture above. In fact, the same thing happens here if you don't work at the right time.
এই তুলা গাছগুলো অনেক লম্বা হয় এবং তুলা পাড়ার সময় এত তুলা কখনই চারিদিকে ছড়াই না। যখন তুলা পাড়ার সময় হয় দুই একজন মানুষ এই লম্বা গাছে উঠে তুলার যে ফল বা বীচি বা বীজ হয় সেগুলোকে ভেঙ্গে নিচে ফেলে দেয়। আর নিচের মানুষ গুলো সেগুলোকে কুড়িয়ে বস্তায় সংরক্ষণ করে নেয়। খুবই সহজ পদ্ধতিতে কাজ হয়ে যায়। কিন্তু এই তুলার বীজ বেশি সময় পেকে যাওয়ায় তুলা পাড়ার পর এমন চারিদিকে ছড়িয়ে গিয়েছিল। তুলা ছড়িয়ে যাওয়ার পর তা গোছানো অনেক কঠিন, উপরের ছবিতে যে তুলাগুলো নিচে পরে আছে সেগুলো সম্পূর্ণ গোছানো সম্ভব নয়। আসলে সঠিক সময়ে কাজ না করলে যা হয় এখানেও একই ঘটনা ঘটেছে।
Later that afternoon, my nephew, my older brother's daughter, was injured in the arm, and an X-ray revealed that she had broken two bones in her left arm. For this I could not sit down to write for some time. InshaAllah, I will write regularly from now.
এই একই দিনে বিকেল বেলা আমার ভাতিজা, আমার বড় ভায়ের মেয়ে হাতে আঘাত পায় এবং পরে এক্স-রে করে জানতে পরি যে বাম হাতের দুটি হাড় ভেঙ্গে গেছে। এর জন্য আমি কিছুদিন লিখতে বসতে পারিনাই। ইনশাআল্লাহ্ এখন থেকে নিয়মিত লিখব।
