Hope you all are doing good today?? Nowadays we have gotten it easy just picking our phones and searching for whatever we want all thanks to the internet. So what exactly is the internet and how has it helped us as humans evolve.

What is the Internet??

The internet in layman's terms is the media which connects everyone in the world and makes it possible for everyone to share information and communicate around the world. Basically it is the world between the world we live in, hypothetically speaking. The internet has also evolved from back in the early ages till now in recent times. The internet wasn’t always this simple and easy, it started from some early in the early ages to today and I will share some light some of the age and how the internet evolved.

Over the years, the internet was accessed differently first through DSL cable, then broadband and now Wi-Fi. All these connection internet connection types were used overtime taking over the other each as the internet evolved.

1. DSL cable

Firstly, let’s talk about the DSL cable internet connection, also known as the digital subscriber line. This connection type provides users with inter internet access through phone lines and modems. The DSL internet usually runs through the phone lines and the wire connecting the phone line has enough bandwidth to support both internet access and phone call conversations. One great feature about this internet connection type was its ability support both phone call and internet access at the same time because both services operated on different frequencies.

Now let’s talk about broadband Internet connection, this broadband connection allowed users to transfer huge amounts of data over a wide range of frequency and also enables messages to be sent simultaneously. It is known for being fast internet. The broadband Internet provides access to the Internet through various mediums like coxial cables, optical fiber, twisted pair cables and many other cables.

3. Wi-Fi

Also talking about Wi-Fi internet connection, this type of internet connection is usually shared among a group of people in a home or a business over a wireless router. With a Wi-Fi internet connection, there are three main types and those are the wide area network (wan), local area network (lan) and personal area network(pan) and all these are use in their respective location planned to improve speed and efficiency of the internet.

Benefits of the internet.

1. One important benefit of the Internet is the amount of information it has provided to us in this is recent times. In recent times, information pertaining to almost everything we know in this world and in relation to any subject.

2. Another benefit of the internet is the unite it creates with communication. The Internet has eradicated diversity and any sort discrimination among people by creating a system where different people of different culture have the chance communicate ideas about important things with being shunned for who they are.

3. The Internet has also made it possible to learn more about anything you wish to online at your own pace and time. Sometimes for instance, if you are learning in school and you want to learn more about the subject on your own, the internet has made it possible to learn what you need at your own time and pace.
