Device used In Networking
When various devices make connection among them, then it is called a network. Among a network, there are various kinds of devices used. Those devices which are used for making nodes are devices like computer, desktop, printer and other devices. And to connect them various devices like hub, bridge, switch, router repeater etc. used. Let’s discuss about them.
Hub: Hub is a device used to connect a device. It has ports between both sides of the devices. And on those ports wire is connect.
Bridge: It is a device which is used to connect between two sides. Where two connection means two topology is on both side and on the middle bridge is present. Bridge is used for broadcasting signal among two sides. Here two types of bridge is present. Dynamic and static bridge. Dynamic is used when one signal or data is sent then it searches address of it, and it makes the table against it. On the other hand, static bridge is a device where manually data is entered.
Switch: it is a device where various ports are connected on both sides. It is used when we have to connect devices nearby. Like if we want to connect devices among a department or a house then we can use a switch. It is a level 2 network connecting devices.
Router: it is a device used for wireless connection. When we want to connect devices which are wireless and wired both then we can use router. It is the most frequently used device in networking. Like when we use Wi-Fi then we can use router as networking device. If we want to connect mobile phone or laptop or desktop, then we can use it.
Repeater: it is used in this sector also, and it used for further repeating of a network.

At last, we can say that there are various devices used in networking sector and those previous are among them.
