Guide to Connecting Trust Wallet to Steemit TRX Wallet

Hello People!!!
I have been quiet inactive on Steemit previously and have been recently trying to give more time to post here as well.

After the TRON Integration I noticed that we receive an amount of TRX for every author rewards claimed.
Steemit, now integrated with TRON gives two options to claim TRX Rewards, one being creation of a new TRON Wallet or connect to an existing TRX Wallet.

I already use Trust Wallet to store, collect and maintain my crypto so I wanted to connect my Steemit TRX rewards directly to my TRON address on Trust Wallet. These are the steps I followed to do the same.

Disclaimer - First I recommend you to transfer all the TRX before connecting to an existing wallet

Please proceed with caution while connecting the wallet and ensure to follow all instructions and disclaimer provide by Steemit during the process.

Step 1. Note down your Trust Wallet TRON address.
This is available in the Trust Wallet App as the image below. Click on the receive button and copy your TRX address.

Step 2. Open your Steemit Wallet Page and click on Link an Existing TRON Account.

Step 3. A disclaimer for connecting the wallet appears.

This is Important, so make sure to read the highlighted part of the disclaimer and follow the same

Step 4. Enter the TRON address copied from Trust Wallet.

Step 5. Check, Recheck, Check Again and then confirm.
You will be asked to enter either the active key, owner key or master password.
Do keep these handy. Careful with these keys.

Once this is done your wallet is not connected to the entered address.
Going forward all the TRX acculturated once you claim your author rewards will be transferred to your Trust wallet Tron Address.

I received my claimed rewards today morning and hence I am publishing this post.
