THE DIARY GAME:02/08/2020:A visit to my uncle's place

Today is 2nd of August 2020, a Sunday. A end of another week in year 2020. I want to say that I usually hate Sundays 🙅. I know now you are wondering. But there is definitely a reason for me. That is not a big issue. Just a simple one. When I am at the hostel, I rush to home on fridays because it takes two hours to travel my hometown from my hostel. So in every friday I used to go home. But on sunday I must return back to hostel. So I feel somewhat awful on sundays 😖.But these days I have no such problems because universities are closed on these days due to this pandemic.

Due to this vacation most of the time I wake up after seven in the morning. My mother says that I am been lazy because of this long vacation. But I am a good girl😀.

It is almost 7.30 🕢 when I woke up this morning. Looks like it is little late today. Never mind I took a quick shower and had breakfast. According to my grandmother breakfast is very important and is a must than lunch or dinner.

As my mother is a nurse she works all most all the seven days of the week. My brother also went to a friend's house. My father also was not at the home. So the morning was a little boring.

So I made a tea and got ready to watch a movie at about ten 🕙 in the morning. I forgot to say that I love horror movies and science frictions.

My favourite science friction is 'the lazurus effect' 👆. It is somewhat old now. But still I love to watch it. Today also I watched the same. This is my second time. I was little sacred at the first time but today I did not feel so sacred.

So after watching the movie I was ready to have the delecios lunch which was prepared by my grandmother. Lunch was contained rice with a fish curry, potato curry and lotus root curry.

Lotus root curry is a delicious side dish in Sri Lanka. Normally in our home rice and curry is must for breakfast and lunch. Most of the time dinner has an exception.

Around 2.30 🕝 my younger brother and father returned home.

This donga fruit was brought by my father. I have never eaten this before. He bought them from the market. My father told me that this fruits grow every four years. This fruit has several flavours like sweet, bitter and sour. Its skin was somewhat bitter and interior had both sweet and sour tastes.

Later I had a little nap and around 4 o' clock 🕓 after my mother returned home we went to one of our uncle's place. They had invited us for a dinner. It is not too far from our home. It took about 10 to 15 minutes to reach there.

On way to their home we stopped at the cargills foodcity. It is about five minutes distance from our home. I and my mother went there to buy some goods for our relations. There we bought a tiara cake, bananas and a chocolate. After we selected the items we handed them to the cashier. The girl at the cashier packed them all into two bags while accounting the bill. I picked up our two bags until mother paid the bill. Then we left there and got into the car 🚗.

In next 10 minutes we reached to our uncle's place. He is the son of my grandmother's younger brother. Although it is near my uncle's house, we could not come here for a while. That is why we decided to spend a lot of time with them today. My uncle has three little babies. They are very cute and adorable 👨‍❤️‍💋‍👨. They have been very friendly with me since I used to come here often previously.

My aunt had made a delicious dinner for us. The dining table was very impressive. They worked so hard to prepare dinner for us.

After the dinner our aunt offered us a side dish which contained bananas, pineapple and dragon fruits.

I took one piece from each pineapple and dragon fruit plates. The dragon fruit was not so sweet but it has some nice flavour which made me to pick one more piece.

So after we finished having dinner we spent sometime chatting.

In the meantime I took sometime to write my diary because I am sure it is going to be too late to go home today as we met after a long time.
