Dear Steemit,

Writing you a letter is a significant challenged. Since words are merely crude instruments of emotion, and you have won my heart. Although this letter has multiple sides, the words are precious. Whatever I say, regardless of the words or the topic, it's all music to me... Since my thoughts came to me and my arm poured into the pen, which sat on the table idly.

My eyes caress the pen strokes I made a while ago, recognizing the personality hidden beneath the bold lines and heavy punctuation marks.

My social media activities started when my daughter KYNRA encouraged me to create a Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram account for the sole purpose of keeping in contact with our friends and family. I also have a Pinterest account where I pin some of the things that interest me. I was looking for an online job for a single parent with a physically and intellectually challenged child who requires 24-hour care. When I left my job, my mother, brothers, and uncle supported my son and me financially for years. They help us, but they can't meet all of our needs because my son's condition necessitates ongoing medical care.

At first, I was skeptical, and I confess that it was a tough change for me, and I was groping in the dark. As a newcomer to #Steemit, I've encountered some bumps and humps. I was about to give up after just two months on this platform because I noticed I wasn't making much progress, but my teammates and newfound friends persuaded me to keep going and told me what to do and other helpful pointers. Writing isn't really my passion because I only compose in fragments as I do in poetry, but as time has passed, I've come to love and appreciate the beauty of writing, and I've found my niche on #Steemit. It's an invitation to adventure, a clear message that interesting directions are ahead of me. Whatever unfolds may be a real challenge, and there might be tears, but I smile because this is my avenue. I lace my boots and take a step, completely understand that the ideas will strike when I least expect them.

My world has turned 360 degrees thanks to #Steemit, which has given me a prolific of blessings and has also helped me improve my writing style. Modesty aside, I now scribble beautiful and meaningful poetry, fiction short stories and I really love the art of writing and engage more, and having fun with my craft. I enjoy writing my blog that is beneficial to both my well-being and the well-being of others. To top it all off, #Steemit assists me financially; I am able to save what I have earned here for my son's maintenance medications and other medications that he requires.

Steemit fosters hope for a better future by extending a helping hand to a community-based group, charity, or initiative that collaborates to assist the less fortunate, disadvantaged, street children, the environment, and other initiatives that benefit humanity. #Steemit is a free platform that has inspired me to express myself and meet people who motivate me to be my best.

With perseverance and dedication, I learned a great deal with the platform. I invest time and create content that suits each topic, contest, challenge. Made many friends even virtual and sometimes we catch up individually to know more about each other. We share opinions and concepts. It teaches me how to expand my understanding of cryptocurrencies. What wallet to use. How to invest adequately and grow profits with #Steemit.

By powering up my liquid Steem, gives me more influence in the Steemit ecosystem, thus allowing me to gather more steems. I am using my fiat currency to purchase Steem as well. I learned techniques to trade my SBD / Steem income similar to trading stocks because it also has the technique of buying at a very low price and then, later on, sell it at a higher price. And just like any trading, one requires knowledge, expertise, patience, and a lot of practice to get around its ins and outs.

NOTE:
I even used my earnings on Steemit on my son's hospital bills when he was hospitalized due to his illness.
