Buy Steem, Grow Your Steem Power and Delegate!

Hello Steemians!

For months of back to active posting here in steemit, I have decided to slowly grow my steem power through buying steem using a portion of my earned SBDs. Only a portion because I would be fake if I tell people I don't want to enjoy my payout here as it is one of my reason why I joined this platform... to earn money!
Real talk, when I introduce steemit to friends I will directly tell them " it's better to join steemit and earn money than consuming your time on Facebook, where only the Facebook owner got rich!" Just like how I reacted then, they would start asking, "how much money did you earn in steemit?", then comes the discussion about the platform.

I never tell purely promises to friends. I always include the pros and cons when one has to join this platform. As it is true that we will earn real money here, there actually exists a "no sure vote" thing as it all lies in the hands of the curators who have the real value on their power.
Therefore, I found it more beneficial to decide on growing my "Steem Power" by using a portion of my earnings than just spending it all. It also shows my desire to stay in this platform as long as steemit exists.

There are many ways to grow our steem power. One is, we can power up our earned steem, those payouts we earned through posting. Then if you have lots of money you can also trade it through an outside wallet, Binance for example, as I have once tried it. But that was before when the value of steem was still affordable. The easiest way for me is to market my SBD and buy steem using our very own steemit wallet.

Here, for those who are new, and are curious about how to actually trade their earned SBDs to Steem, log in to your steemit wallet and then click on the arrow down symbol beside your earned SBD.

Log in to your Steemit Wallet then click on "Market"

Enter the desired amount of SBD to be used

Example for "2 SBDs" you can buy 17.251 steems

Click on "Buy Steem"

We're Done!"

A few moments later, an amount of 17.251 Steem will then be added to your steem wallet. Remember the value of steem is subject to rapid rise and fall, therefore trade at your comfort. It is much better to buy Steem when the price is low. You may wish to increase the amount of SBD any time at your will.

My reason for buying steem is to grow my steem power so after the order is closed, I will then Power it Up.
Now to make use of my accumulated Steem Power, as it has no value yet, I chose to delegate this to my trusted communities. I already delegated part of it to two other communities in which I already received a fixed amount of monthly income.
Again this time, I'll be delegating this power to the most promising community to grow in this Platform, the Steeming Community. Our manager @cryptokannon has a vision of the future, the goal of becoming independent, that no matter what will happen to the value of "Steem", as long as Steemit still exists, the community curation account @steemingcuration can still support its member.

Help us reach this goal and be part of its growth. Buy steem, grow your steem power, delegate to @steemingcuration and together we will be stronger!

Awesome post! I, for one, agree that powering up is a duty which we owe this platform. If more people can power up, then more people can be of help, showing support and encouraging the entire community as much as possible. Thanks a lot for this post, it has been very insightful.

Yes, one of the reasons the people are here

Thank you so much for this information.. Am still very new to the steemit community and i really wanna power up wit the little SBD i have and this post has been really helpful. Here are my questions.. 1 you said its best to; buy steem when the price is low,so in what ways would i know that it is low?
2; You said after successfully powering and getting SP that it needs to be delegated to a community.. Can you please explain what it means to delegate steem?
3; You mentioned that the SP you delegated to some communities now yields you some monthly income. can you pls explain how it works?
4; what are the advantages or reasons why we should delegate our SP

Sorry if am way to inquisitive.. i just wanna be understand how this works because i can as well choose to cash out everything, but i understand that investing back to the community is the best move. so kindly clear me on these ones @fabio2614

yes @danie2funny

lots of question ha🙂
let me answer you the best I can.

  1. I use coingecko to check on steem price and other coins, or join discord chanel and ask the steem price from there MODs

  2. I included a delegation button at the bottom of my post to make it easier for anyone who wish to delegate.
It means you let other account use your steem power who may now have value because of delegated steem aside from you.
ex. your 100+ steem power when you upvote a post only gave cents($0.01) to that post... where as if you delegate that 100+ steem power ex. to @steemingcuration, once accumulated into a bigger number of steem power it can now give value to your post ex.$2.00, if ever @steemingcuration upvoted on your post.

  3. the community sent directly to my wallet an amount of steem depending on the amount of SP I delegated to them. It is them who will calculate my share for the month. That is why when you delegate you will also receive income in return.

  4. I think my answer in number 2 can explain why it is best to delegate our SPs

😊

WOW!!! thanks for the answers ,though i still dont quite understand number 2 but i guess as time goes on with my stay in the platform i will

how i buy 3 month delegation

hello @sherazkhan1 sorry I don't get what you mean by this... when you delegate there is no expiration . It's all up to you when to delegate and undelegate.
🙂

before ,blocktrade given 90 days delegation ,know where we purchased steem power for 3 month

you can buy steem using binance, or can just use your sbd to buy steem using your steemit wallet

u just say , i don't know about ,my QUSTION ,BYTHE WAY THANKS

"know where we purchased steem power for 3 month"
can you clarify what do you mean by this?
as it really confuses me...why for 3 months?

I think, @sherazkhan1 want to find a person or steembot about it will rent delegation. And I wonder that. :) 2 years ago, people can make it from https://blocktrades.us . Now on this site, only renting hive. Do you know anything about delegation renting?

yah u r right , i know every thing ,thank god ,any one listen

I guess I really need to work hard on my SP so I can delegate some and earn some in return while helping the community grow. Thanks for the info @fabio2614

You're right! Hopefully it will soon come back to us in whole number and not just cents ...🙂
