Greetings to this excellent community curious about photographing fantastic insects like me. Today I come again to share with you images of an interesting jumping insect that is commonly found in my Venezuelan land.

Según investigaciones en la red no solo aquí en mi país sino en casi todos los climas del mundo, ya que existen más de 17.000 especies de saltamontes, casi no pude tomar fotos por su capacidad de saltar rápidamente. según investigaciones puede saltar más de 18 veces su longitud.

The weirdest thing is that they have no ears and they make a very annoying melody when they rub a pair of their 6 legs together quickly.

Otro dato curioso que pude averiguar en la red es que una de las plagas de cultivos conocidas en el mundo como son las langostas. son una especie de este insecto. no tiene orejas, pero si pueden escuchar por un órgano que tienen en su addomen, que interesante. esta saltanrin de 5 ojos....

Lo más raro es que no tienen orejas y hacen una melodía muy molesta cuando frotan un par de sus 6 patas rápidamente.

This one I found in my garden has spectacular camouflage. I had a hard time locating the annoying sound it was making until I found it hiding behind some branches. I was able to get up close with my camera and notice that on one pair of legs it has a kennel on each leg,

I think it was in the process of mating because there was another smaller grasshopper about 2 meters away on the roof but I couldn't photograph it.

Esta que encontré en mi jardín tiene un camuflaje espectacular. Me costó localizar el molesto sonido que hacía hasta que lo encontré escondido detrás de unas ramas. Pude acercarme con mi cámara y notar que en un par de patas tiene una crierras en cada una de ellas,

Creo que estaba en proceso de aparear porque había otro saltamontes más pequeño a unos 2 metros en el techo pero no pude fotografiarlo.

Well I conclude by saying that this insect can be eaten, it is rich in protein, but for me I'd better stick with chicken, happy day and blessings.
