2 years later...

I remember this day, 2 years ago, the day that I left my 1st company that I served for 3 years. Originally, that was my separation date until they decided to give me a 1 week vacation leave, and left on February 25, 2019. From my previous post, I shared to you how I got into the Business Processing Outsource (BPO) industry. It really is a bummer when I found out the painful truth, what they're looking for who has experience in the field rather than a fresh graduate from college. At least, I was able to finish my studies and mostly used what I learned.

The reason why I left the company is I have 3 different reasons:

  • I had a beef with my previous supervisor. Unlike from my other previous supervisors, he was totally different. He wants me to perform more since I've been a top agent multiple times.
  • The toxic environment around the production floor. New rules were impletented by our Operations Supervisor (more higher than a Supervisor which we call them a Coach) like: the email/contact should be finished less than 6 minutes. Don't pause a contact, it should be finished first - If it is hard to resolve, seek assistance from your Coach, your Team Lead, or any officer around the production floor.
  • I don't want to see my ex-girlfriend around. We've been together for 3 years, it was an on and off relationship but everything changed days after New Year's Day of 2019, she showed me a ring from her new boyfriend. It was stupid to win her back multiple times. The moment she showed me that ring, I even didn't talk to her, nor looked at her. Now, were good friends.
    • So with this, I decided to leave ePerformax for good, move forward, and never look back. I became a LiDAR Reviewer for Remotasks, then a photographer for Pinoyfootball.com covering the local football scene, studied Web Development for 3 months so I can shift my career into a different path, after finishing my training & started looking for companies looking for a web developer, but that didn't work until I decided to go back into the industry with a different company called Teleperformance, then left last year on November 17, 2020. Now, going full time here on Steemit.

I had regrets, only a few of it, and If only I could turn back the hands of time, I should have dropped out of college, started working then pursue my passion as a Web Developer so I can help out my family, and I should have never met her. The only problem is, I don't have a time machine but these things can be turned as lessons. If I ever see my previous supervisor around, I will not hesitate to beat him up. Just joking, karma will strike on him. What happened to eBay at ePerformax? Well, the emails team was dissolved, then transferred to taking calls. Now, the entire program is dissolved, the rest of my former colleagues were now under a new program called T-Mobile.

I decided of not going back, and I'm done serving my time with the BPO industry. I only had 2 choices: continue to sleep with your dreams? Or wake up and chase them? I'd say, I will wake up, start my day and chase them. It's never too late to start over.
