PEER INFLUENCE

U take this opportunity to recorganise all of you guys in this section and steemist members.l great you all Jesus's name and well done for all the things you g have done tdy and you always do.My name is Milly Gabby a 22year old from Makerere University Business School Nakawa fro Uganda Kampala.

Today am going to talk about perr influence ,the defition,advantage and disadvantages.
PEER infuence means that the way how aperson is inspired to join one's group,other people's actions and so on.This is mostly involves the youth at young age.It is not so good to associate with peer groups because it has affected people alot both positively and negatively at alarger extent as shown below.Am going to start with the positive side and then negatively lastly.
Positively, when you peer groups ,one can feel some love and belonging because if associate with groups,friends you feel really so loved and even you can easily tell your friends how your feeling and different problems you have .Confidence, when join peers or friends you get to associate with others and learn how to talk with people which gains confidence in your life.
Disadvantages of peer groups .Here we have so many negative effects on peer influence where by one gets addicted to drugs like alcohol marijuana and so on which is too dengourous to one's health.There is also destruction of property like in schools when they decide to riote , early marriage for young girls due to peer influence among others .
How to go over it.Always plan ahead and keep yourself busy , seek for good friends who are determined over a certain goal in life , get to consult from other people before acting here you will forego doing mistakes .
Here I want to show you how a certain girl messed up due to peer influence.
A 18 year old girl in high school in a certain school in Uganda was influenced by other girls in the same age group who had grew up from different places in town to go for clubing after escapping from school with there boyfriend outside school.Sharon had come from very far from the village and her parents were just farmers and she had only a mum where by she would first borrow from aSacco the daughter to study and she had promised her to read and pass highly.Cause the dad had already died .When she reached scool , she got a friend and she had everything and one without .She admired to have things what the wealthy girl had and she asked for help on how she made it and she told heger that she had awealthy guy who would give everything and promised her to get her one of the friends of the guy.Herr poor friend told her not to do that but she never listened and they decided to go and escape to go out for clubing .There she got pregnant cause she knew nothing and both affected by aids after wards espelled from school.The mum insitantly died when she had that because she had high pressure so the girl remained hopeless and even the friends abandoned her . So guys I urge u not to be influenced by bad peer groups and learn to forego them to move on successfully.
