SEC17 WK:#3: large and small families, likes and dislikes
No matter how big or small the family is, it is necessary to be happy with everyone. Each person has their own preference, some prefer a large family to get along with everyone and some prefer a small family to minimize extra hassle. I also belong to a big family. We are a big family of 10 members with four brothers and parents along with two elder brothers' wives and children. In our Bangladesh big family means presence of more members such as grandparents, uncles family will be joined together in that family.
Advantages for large families:
I am very happy and comfortable with my big family of 10 members. In large families, each child learns to take responsibility from an early age and can work in a team with children and household chores. Children of large families learn teamwork from the family. Any kind of celebration is great fun and is full of tradition in big families. The extended family remains a strong community.
Disadvantage
While there are advantages to a large family, there are also disadvantages. The main problem in large families is that some work hard and some take advantage without hard work, resulting in conflict. Due to more members, financial problems are created and other basic rights including education are violated.
Small family
A small family consists of only parents and a maximum of two children. Small families form a close relationship. Below are the likes and dislikes of small families:
Choice
A small family caters to all the needs of children very easily. Children from small families have better economic needs and education. Small family members can keep track of each other without any hassle. Small families have freedom and are not rushed to make decisions in all cases. Can lead lifestyle according to own choice. Smaller families have a more peaceful environment than larger families.
Dislike
Small families have fewer responsibilities with parents and other members who may be disengaged from family responsibilities, resulting in less contact with relatives. Groom takes good responsibility towards other members of the family. Small families have financial stress because there are fewer earners to face financial stress. Younger family members are less likely to socialize with others while living alone, which makes them feel uneasy.
Each family has advantages and disadvantages. The main objective is to keep ourselves happy by accepting the advantages and facing the disadvantages. As I come from a big family I try to be responsible towards my family and prefer to share my happiness with everyone. I love reading your post, you said so many things about the small family and it seems you have a small family.
You said that in a all family children have good economy and education, small family have freedom and are not rush into decisions making.
And you concluded by saying that each family, either large or small family have their advantages and disadvantages, that the main point is for you to be happy for the advantages and also face the disadvantages.

According to the rules of our country, I am a member of a small family, but as per the current situation, a family with more than 4 members is called a big family. I am a member of a big family and I share my happiness with everyone. I think it is important to know whether the family members are happy or not without looking at how many members are in my family.
