Children have always been and will remain a special gifts from God to us. And most of the time, the way a child is raised goes a long way to determine their future at the end of the day.
For me, I believe strongly that every children needs to be raised in a proper way and that can not be possible without proper guidance. Without proper guidance, we will see children that will lose direction and will make wrong choices at the end of the day which can affect their future.
From my own understanding, children learn very fast from what they see around them. They copy the behavior of their parents, teachers, and even friends.
That is why guidance is not only about giving instructions, but also about setting a good example. When a child sees kindness, honesty, and respect, they are more likely to practice those same values in their daily life.
One of the most important part of guiding children also I will suggest is the aspect of communication and I am going to explain. For me, I actually feel that a lot of parents do not give time to talk and listen to their children.
Most especially when a child is trying to express their thoughts and even their feelings, they should be loved and understood. For me this helped the child to build confidence and even trust. If a children is actually ignored, they may later end up looking for attention somewhere else.
Discipline is also necessary, but it must be done with love and patience. I believe that harsh punishment can sometimes do more harm than good. Instead, children should be corrected in a calm way so they can understand their mistakes and learn from them. Discipline should teach, not just punish. When children understand why something is wrong, they are more likely to change their behavior.
As we can see that in the present world we are in to. There is a whole lot of distractions that if we did not pay attention to can affect our children most especially the distraction coming from the social media. For me I have noticed that when a child spend too much time on the phone.
It really have a way of affecting their social interactions and even the way they focus on their books. That is why I also encouraged that every parents should monitor the number of time that their children spend on the phone. We should learn to set limits as this can help to develop the child both mentally and all around.
Education also plays a big role in guiding children. It is not just about going to school, but also about teaching life values such as responsibility, hard work, and respect for others. I think when children are properly guided in their education, they become more confident and prepared for the future.
Finally as I conclude, love is the foundation of proper guidance. Every child needs to feel loved and supported. When children grow up in a loving environment, they feel secure and are more willing to learn and improve themselves. I strongly believe that love combined with good guidance can shape a child into a great person.
