My stay in the village

During this festive holiday period that we are, I travel down to my home town to celebrate new year with my lovely family. My husband didn't go with us only I and my son whom grandma was eager to see.

In the village, mom and grandma with other of my siblings, uncle, aunt welcome us very well. Each day notice that my child is really enjoying his stay in the village. Here I don't have power to resist him from doing anything because of grandma. She has giving him the freedom to do what makes him happy.

On this day, 03/01/2025 when I try to prepare food, I see my son been very happy to assist our last born in washing plates. He was so serious in what his doing which takes away my attention to pause the cooking process for a while and then look at him with some unanswerable questions running through my mind.

When I couldn't get an answer to the question, I proceeded the cooking process. I got the amazing experience of fast cooking again after 2years plus, the firewood cooking. It's simple, fast and taste difference. After preparing everything and keep in place, I went to where I will set up my fire and then input the firewood before lighting fire.

Then I place my pot on it. In less than 40minute, the meal was ready and happily , I enjoy the meal.

After eating, I relax for hour before going to bath my son. I put water in the bowl down to the spot to bath him and then went in to bring out his towel. Coming out, I see oga trying to shower on it own and I know that if I wait for more seconds, he will act funny.

Moving to where he is, he tries lifting up the bowl and before I could run to hold the bucket, all the water was on the ground. Hnmmm, I didn't say anything because I know children distinct behaviors is still in him. Quietly, I carry another bucket, put water and the bathe him.
