VIDEO —REPAIRING AN HOME THEATER SYSTEM

Hello my friends, I said in my past post that I made a complete video on how I repaired A Samsung Home theater system.
And here it is.

A customer brought a Samsung home theater system for me to repair. It had power issue and the IC was the problem. It was damaged. I had to o replace it.
After asking one of my students to remove it, i.went to get a new one. But here in Uyo , the IC is not available. So instead of buying the ice, I bought this power driver board.

It can kickstart any power system that's refusing to start and release voltage.

When I go back to my shop, I took the power board of the set and remove all the bad components. There was a bad MOSFET, I removed it, I also changed the primary side power diode.

After cross checking,and everything was okay. I installed the Power driver.
It also has an adjustment where you can adjust voltages if it's either too high or too low.

After installing, I tested all the primary voltages ,and they were released perfectly, I tested the secondary voltages, and they were complete.
So I returned the power pack into the set.

I connected all the socketing and powered the system.
It turned on. Guys, I was so happy.

I then plugged in the speakers and played music from it.
It was working perfectly fine. I called the customer to come pick it up o. I didn't charge him that much though.
