I can vividly remember those days, those days in the lives of verified kids, those days were we'll talk our sorrows out, those days we'll fight for championship, those days we'll get to know each and every verified kid through engagements, those days we'll win kid celebrity of the month and those days our horizon would be broaden through engagement topics/questions.

Skids-Corner is an engagement forum for Verified kids in steemkids community where kids are moderated on certain topics to work on and also interact, chat and get to know certain individuals as well as other things worth knowing.

This engagement forum has been making verified kids super active in this community as many would be after giving their best to ace prizes offered at the end of each week.

Skids-Corner was hosted every week and in the course of these weeks, topics or questions would be thrown to the kids to engage with for a week. My use of past tense here is right because it's not longer active. It is abeyance.
It was run on a weekly basis.

The kids would be given interesting topics and questions to deliberate on and engage on too. This would last for a week and at the end of that week, the most engaged would be announced. The screenshot below shows the interaction between users in the forum.

Steems were issued to the first Three winners and those who acted in compliance to the given topic. After some months, booming support instead of steems were used in rewarding kids. ...If a user is consistent in winning first place for the four weeks which makes up a month, he or she will be issued 20 steems and will be announced as the kid celebrity of the month of which I was in the month of February.

Personally, this engagement forum has made me hyper active on the platform as I'll know I have competitors at hand.

• It has also given me certain insights on some topics and people's view on that topic or question.

• It has made me know users not just by their usernames but also their lifestyle. I miss @
  and his bro. I've not been seeing them lately that's one of the reasons why I implore this engagement forum for kids is brought back on but if for certain reasons, my request can't be granted, I'll accept with full chest.

Since steemit is a social media platform, users need to know each other and this can be done not only by commenting on people's post and then asking certain questions but through this forum. I miss being a kid celebrity.

This is all I have to say. Hopefully my request for a better improvement in the activeness of kids in this community would be granted. Thanks to all the admins and moderators that has undeniably made this community a success.
