RE: Food challenge contest week #166 || For kids and parents| Teach The Kids/Kids Food Challenge| Paella
This looks like a continental dish in my country though the name and a few ingredients are quite different. The prawns are blended and the oysters are removed from their shell when cooking a delicacy in my city though I usually hear people prefer it with the shell as it has nutritional values.
Thanks for the invite....But you haven't told us how you cooked the food. You're expected to teach us, tell us your ingredients and the likes 😁. Anyways, we're good.
You are absolutely right, I should have shared more, but I didn't want to be trite, since everyone probably knows how to make paella! 😊 We prepared the dish with the following ingredients: shrimp, oysters (with shells, precisely because of those beneficial substances 😉), garlic, a little white wine, olive oil, a little hot pepper and fresh parsley. I started by lightly frying the garlic, added the shrimp and oysters, then a little wine for flavor and let everything simmer for a few minutes.
I'm glad you joined the conversation, I enjoy exchanging tastes and ideas from different parts of the world! :)
Ohkay, I understand you. What kind of white wine is this that can add flavour to the food? Can you tell me the name of probably share an image? First time I'm hearing of wine in food. And I'm not familiar with the paella....😁
