A cartoon can refer to a humorous drawing that presents features of the subject in an exaggerated manner. This aspect of drawing is mostly loved by children and even adults.
Materials for drawing
- White embossed paper
- Pencil
- Eraser
- Sharpener
- Red colour
- Black pen
Step 1
I drew the face cap of the guy. I started with the crown followed by the bills. I then drew the top button, the adjustment buckle and the eyelet using an HB pencil.
Step 2
I drew the head of the guy, which I began with the eyebrow, followed by the eye, the nose, the cheek and the mouth. I also drew one of the guy's earsears using an HB pencil and then traced it with a black pencil.
Step 3
I drew the neck, the collar of the jacket he wore, the entire jacket and his hands, which were pocketed in the jacket. Lastly, I drew the second ear using an HB pencil.
Step 4
I drew the short won by the guy. I also drew part of his legs and his tail.
Step 5
Here, I drew the shoes won by the guy. I began with the left leg and then concluded with the right leg.
Step 6
Here, I coloured part of the shoes, the trousers, the necklace and part of the cap red. I also shaded the remaining part of the cap, the shirt and part of the trousers black using a 2B pencil, which brought me to the end of the drawing.
