Contest alert- All-in-one contest W21: Drawing of a rooster carrying a Cat.

Greetings, my dear friends and steemians. I welcome you especially to my blog and to this beautiful contest organised by @steemkidss. This week, I drew a rooster carrying a cat. I made this drawing to impress all the kids and parents in this community. Without wasting much time, let's dive into the drawing details.

Materials for the drawing

• Plain A4 paper
• Pencils
• Eraser
• Razor blade
• Cotton wool.

Step 1
I started by writing my name and date on the paper. After that, I drew the head of the rooster beginning with the beak (mouth of the rooster). After the beak, I drew the comb, wattles, eyes and then the ear lobes. I concluded by drawing the neck of the rooster using an HB pencil.

Step 2
I sketched the remaining part of the chicken, which comprises the back, the tail feathers, the breast and the thigh of the two legs.

Step 3
I drew the legs of the rooster starting with the shank, followed by the spurs., the toes and the claws. I also adjusted the comb, the wattles, and the ear lobes of the roster.

Step 4
I shaded the comb, the eye, wattles, the beak and neck of the rooster.

Step 5
Here, I shaded the tail feathers, the wings, the thigh and the breast. I also shaded the shank and toes of the rooster.

Step 6
I drew the head of a cat in the beak (mouth) of the rooster. On the cat's head, I drew the nose, the eyes and the mouth. I also drew the whiskers and shaded the remaining part of the cat's head.

Step 7
I drew the remaining parts of the cat beginning with the neck, followed by the back, the chest, the forelegs, the belly, the hind legs and the tail. I also shaded the cat.

Step 8
I shaded the background of the drawing, beginning with the ground level and then the wooden fence.
