Greetings steemians! How are you today? I hope you are all fine as I am. I appreciate the steem kids community and @mesola for organising and sustaining this contest. In this week's contest, I made a craft of home decoration using a waste carton. I hope every member of this community will like it.

Materials used for construction

• Waste carton
• Pencil
• Eraser
• Sharpener
• Acrylic colour
• Poster colour
• Scissors
• Brush
• Paper cutter
• Evostik gum

Step 1
I began my construction by drawing two circles on a carton. I drew the first one using a big round bowl, and I drew the second circle, which is smaller than the first one. The smaller circle is drawn right inside the bigger circle with equal space between them. After that, I cut the two circles using my paper cutter.

Step 2
I drew something like a cloud on a carton and cut it out using a paper cutter.

Step 3
I drew a bird on a carton. I started from the beak of the bird. After that, I drew the head, the long neck, the entire body and then the legs. Once I was done, I cut it out using a paper cutter.

I drew a flower with seven petals on a carton and carefully cut it out using a paper cutter

Step 5
I drew another species of flower on a carton and cut it out using a paper cutter.

Step 6
At this stage, I started putting these parts together using an Evostik gum. I first gummed the cloud I made with a carton on the circled background. I also gummed the seven petals flower on the circled background.

Step 7
At this stage, I gummed the bird I drew on the same background, and finally, I also gummed the second flower on the cloud.

Step 8
At this point of the construction, I began to colour the craft. I used my yellow poster colour on the circled background and the cloud. I gave it some time to dry. After that, I added my red acrylic colour to the cloud and the small flower.

Step 9
I coloured the six petals flower using black and red acrylic colour. I colored the entire flower red and then each leaf of the flower is outlined with black colour. I also made a design on the leaf using black colour.

Step 10
At this final stage of the construction, I coloured the bird using a blue poster colour. I then coloured its legs and beak with black acrylic colour, and finally, I used white poster colour to colour its eyes.

Conclusion
