Let's do it...Do It Yourself👉Craft, Creativity, Drawing, origami, recycle and more
The concept behind this drawing is to illustrate the deeper connection between the child and the parent. It also shows a dependency on direction, food, clothing, and everything. In other words, this gesture shows a comfort zone for the kids, helping them feel safe and regulating their emotions. So, here is the step-by-step process of my drawing.
Materials for the drawing
- Plain embossed paper
- HB pencil
- 2B pencil
- 5B pencil
- Razor Blade
- Eraser
Step 1
I began by sketching the palm of the kids down the wrist. I began with the thumb down to the smallest finger and then the wrist. I used an HB pencil
Step 2
I traced the sketch with a 2B pencil to make it darker, I drew the nails and then drew a few contour lines in the palm.
Step 3
I drew more contour lines to make the hand look more real.
Step 4
I sketched the parents' hands holding the kid's hand using an HB pencil. Here, I began with the smallest finger and concluded with the thumb, and eventually the wrist.
Step 5
I traced the big palm with a 2B pencil to make the line dark and clearer. I also drew the contour lines found in the hand. I shaded the hands and blended the connection between the two palms.
