When I use to ask her why she normally wakes up early to prepare the chips, she tells me that the business of a plantain chips is really really flowing most especially in my school because students do enjoy it and they buy it In bulk and she also tells me that most lecturers do buy them also that why she wakes up early is so as to carry the product to school early so that people who buy from her will not bother buying from another person but her.

Another reason why this plantain chips is profitable in Akwa ibom state is because high demand of people take it as daily snacks most especially students in secondary and higher institutions in Akwa ibom state. Akwa ibom state has a strong market for plantain products, making it a fast growing agricultural business sector, Even small producer can make steady income selling it to a street buyer and also in shops.

If I had the opportunity to move my business to a location that will make it flow better I'll choose Uyo as my main base in Akwa ibom state. I remember the first time I visited uyo the city was so much populated, full of movement, ambition and a place for business opportunity. Everything I saw and everywhere I looked I saw people been so busy selling different types of products like potatoes, popcorn, and so many products like that which made me believe that uyo was a very nice place to set up my business of selling plantain chips.

The roads where lively, the market was very much active,the atmosphere even carried a sense of growth that is hard to stop growing a business there. I knew immediately that this place am about starting plantain chips business with my Aunt will flourish. Uyo is the capital of Akwa ibom state,and that alone gives me strong advantage because is even my city where I grew up from and people from different local government areas come there daily for work , business education and shopping and different activities.

Another reason I would choose Uyo is the lifestyle of the people. The residents appreciate quality and convenience. They are open to new ideas, modern services, and improved experiences. Sometimes before choosing a place for business we should always check the lifestyle and and the quality of the environment where we can sell our products to attract customers. When people value comfort and innovation, they are more comfortable and willing to try something new that can support their business that brings value to their daily lives.

Also the environment In this city can support growth, good road network and expanding the business capacity of the place. So in my mind, moving to uyo would not just be a business decision, it will be a step into making more income in my plantain chips business. With my handwork, consistency, and genuine service,I believe that people would lot just patronize me but also grow with it.

Starting a plantain chips business can be done in two different ways, starting small with limited capital or or starting with a big investment. Both starting with low and high capital can succeed if someone can plan wisely. Understand your marketing strategies and stay consistent in your business. The difference is mainly your speed and risk level because someone can choose to start with big capital first but when you don't have customers there might be lost in the product of goods.

Starting small is the safest and most Common way someone begins a plantain chips business. It allows someone to learn gradually, make mistakes cheaply and grow up step by step but if you start by choosing a big capital when you haven't check if you have much customers in a day you will be loosing everyday.

Also , start with basic equipment like you don't need expensive machines first you can begin with, knife or manual slicer, frying pan, cooking oil, salt nylon and or transparent bag. Instead of making large quantities that may spoil, produce only what you can sell daily which can help reduce waste, improve test and understand customers demand.

Also another reason is because some people don't know how to make their products attract customers by always posting their products online and making the product so cheap for customers to buy.

So I think to make this business successful a producer should always set a good capital someone who is just starting the business should start with a low capital first to observe how it will work out so that the product won't be wasted. The producer should find a better location that will make the business grow so that customers will be buying the products.
