How I Prepared Delicious Beef Stew for My Family (Sunday Rice Special)
Hello friends, parents, and kids in this wonderful community. I hope everyone is having a great day.
Today, I want to share a detailed process of how I cooked a very delicious red beef stew. In my home, rice and stew is a very popular meal, especially for the kids. They love it so much. I decided to take pictures of every step so I can show you exactly how I achieved this yummy taste.
It is not difficult to cook, just follow my steps.
Step 1:
Getting the Ingredients Ready First of all, I gathered all the ingredients I needed. It is good to keep everything close so you don't forget anything.
Here is what I used:
| Ingredients | Information |
|---|---|
| Fresh Beef | (meat) |
| Fresh Tomatoes and Peppers | already blended |
| Sachet Tomato Paste | I used the Figo brand |
| Onions | Red onions give good flavor |
| Vegetable Oil | for frying tomatoes and onions |
| Seasoning cubes | Maggi star & Knorr |
| Sachet Spices | Larsor Chicken seasoning and natural spice powder |
| Salt | to taste |
Step 2:
The first thing I did was to wash my beef very clean. I put it in a pot and sliced plenty of onions into it. I added seasoning cubes and salt. I did not add water immediately; I let the meat boil with its own water first so the taste would enter very well. Later, I added a little water and cooked it until the meat was soft.
Step 3:
Boiling the Fresh Tomato While the meat was cooking, I had already blended my fresh tomatoes and peppers. I poured it into a separate pot and boiled it. This step is very important because you need to dry up the sour water from the fresh tomatoes before frying. This prevents the stew from having a sour taste and makes it fry faster.
Step 4:

Frying the Stew Base Now, the real cooking begins. I put a clean dry pot on the fire and added my vegetable oil. Once the oil was hot, I poured in the boiled fresh tomato.
To make the stew thick and very red, I opened my sachet tomato paste (Figo) and added it to the pot.
I stirred everything together and let it fry. You have to keep stirring so it does not burn at the bottom. The oil will mix well with the tomatoes.
###Step 5:

Adding the Meat and Spices Once the tomato was well fried (you will know when the oil starts floating on top), I added my meat stock. That is the water remaining from the meat I boiled earlier, it contains all the flavor.
I added my spices (Curry, natural spice, Thyme, and the Larsor seasoning) and tasted for salt. Then, I poured the cooked beef into the stew.
I stirred it gently and covered the pot. I allowed it to cook on low heat for some minutes so the meat would absorb the stew and the oil would settle on top.
Step 6:
The Food is Ready After some time, the aroma filled the kitchen. The stew was ready! You can see how red and beautiful it looks. The oil has risen to the top, which shows it is well-fried.
Step 7:
Serving the Kids I boiled white rice to go with the stew, so may be next time I will show us some secret to prepare a well perfect white rice... So I served the food hot.
The best part of cooking is seeing your family enjoy the food. Here is the result, a happy face enjoying the delicious rice and beef stew.
Thank you for reading my post. Cooking for the family is something I enjoy doing. This method is simple, and the result is always tasty. I hope you try it this way too.
