2025 Journey- Highs and lows

2025 was quite a year filled with so many changes for me. That year marked a lot of significant situations for me, it was filled with s many changes and a lot of celebrations.

Begining of the year started with me preparing for my Waec examination. It was one busy year for me, it was another milestone and challenge in my life that I was determined to overcome.

That period was a period of bonding and friendship, both losing and gaining friends.
That period also posed quite a trying decision too, a decision that every teenager writing his final high school exams face.
That period we literally went to school from Monday to Saturday vigorously preparing... Then the exams came and it passed so quickly like it wasn't something we had been waiting for for months for.

We passed our results, our sign out and then my secondary school graduation came, another period of real joy for me, happy to see the end of a six years journey but also nervous to know what comes next.

Then here comes the decision... Learning a trade or just going to school at once. Originally I hadn't written jamb exams yet so I couldn't enter university that year.

Then came the amazing good news,mt mom had a job in ABA Abia state as a polytechnic Lecturer, the plan in my mind original was to stay at a pharmacy and learn and then maybe later go to school if I so desire.

Then came the biggest and the largest milestone in my life, relocating to Abia state, because since my mom got a job in a polytechnic, it only sounded reasonable for me to school there, and what made it the more so easy was it was through direct entry...

So I got the admission there and there came the moving, I say it was my most very difficult time because I had an entire life in Uyo, and it really hurt to be leaving it and everyone behind, knowing it might be years before i would see them again.

Well that was it, the decision was made and there was nothing that would eventually change it... So it happened we moved.

I had to get a new life, new friendships, it was very difficult, the first time we attended a meeting with them, they were very nice and friendly.

I was a little bit reserved because it takes time for me to make friends, but they didn't give up, the kept on talking and soon, I made friends, wanting to see how long they'll go.

Then I started school, that was another difficult thing for me to adapt to because I wasn't used to the system, waking up early, standing for hours in practical labs, having endless frustrations and disappointments, the friends, the struggles we've been through and everything made me stronger, finally, I've gotten used to the environment a bit, and hopefully since we will be resuming soon, I hope to keep on going till I adapt.

Last year was filled with so many changes, but with every challenge came me being stringer and better, and I still look to Jehovah to help me go through 2026, still better than ever.
