Greetings to great Steemians, I am delighted participating in this week's contest put on by @m-fdo. I will share in 3 phases how I spent my day; read through and let me enjoy and learn from your comments.

	Breakfast is Ready

In the morning after a short prayer, I felt I should sleep again, as I didn't have a lot to do. Malaria has been disturbing me, and I have been treated with herbs, yet the symptoms persist. I got some plantain from my travels last week, so I preferred it with beans. I gave my wife some money to buy 3 cups of beans at seven hundred and fifty naira (N750) in Nigerian (my country's) currency, equivalent to 8.4 steem. I assisted my wife to select the beans while she was peeling the plantain to combine it, a combo I craved, and she delivered exactly my taste. To this end, my wife is a connoisseur of all delicacies, credit to her and to every woman who cooks well.

When they told me that the garri container was empty in the morning, I called our customer to deliver half a basin of garri to us worth seven thousand five hundred naira (N7,500) and 83.4 steem. The garri was sent through a minibus driver to deliver. At about 1:05pm, I went through Nwaniba Road, Uyo, to wait by the Ewet Offot bus stop. Immediately I got a call that my garri was on the way.

While waiting, I noticed two POS girls sleeping with their heads resting on the business table. You tell how hardworking they are but the economy is not just favorable at all. I was moved with serious compassion. They came out for daily bread and I don't think the POS is theirs, they might be working as an attendant for someone who may not pay them up to ten thousand naira (N10,000). “Suffer dey dis country which na only God go help us” I was just watching then, not too long the bus arrived to deliver my goods.

Today was our carol of nine lessons in the Parish, where different worship centers came and rendered songs to refresh our souls about the birth of Christ. The event that was scheduled for 4pm commenced at 4:46pm and our choir, of which I was the conductor, sang about 6:37pm after the 4th lesson was read. We rendered a Christmas medley from the Revised Church Hymnary. The congregation joined the soul lifting songs with so much reflections about the season.

I really enjoyed the service, when other choirs were singing, I was playing the keyboard too. The carol ended with the popular “Hallelujah Chorus” written by Handel and the service came to a close at 8:09pm as the minister incharge prayed and gave benediction.

Our church members who came with cars picked others including my family and we went back blessed. Upon entering the house to relax and watch the Carabao cup football match between Manchester City and Brentford, we experienced a power outage which got me very angry but just had to understand the usual situation of light in this country of ours. I didn't feel like eating, therefore, called it a night and went to bed.

Today was great with spiritual blessings and God's providence for what we eat and my health improved speedily. I thank God.
